Not that kind of big C. I met a woman that told me that she was in remission from cancer. My instincts told me to step away and avoid future heart aches. What would you do? I think most women would not tell you that up front.

It wouldn't stop me from exploring a relationship with her.
It's really hard to find someone that can complete you and maybe just maybe she's that one.

My wife died of cancer 8 years ago. The last year of her life was excruciating yet how I could not do it again. It's not about me (or you), it's about her. Anything you can do to help the journey.

I'm sorry for you loss. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you. I bet not a day goes by where you don't think about her. RIP
If you're not even sure about your feelings. Be honest and step away. Not all men can handle this. Had a friend took care of his wife all the way to the end...The sad part about it is having small kids who are oblivious to all the things that happen. The questions he has to answer from their young minds. She was so weak she can't play with their kids and just watch them in her easy chair...about 80lbs. a beautiful woman who fought all the way through it. Young age of 36 too.

Towards the end, inside 6 months she went from a volupteous, vivacious 160 lb woman --- to a 60 lb skeleton!
Seeing the Cancer eat away at her was heartbreaking! It was painful, I could literally feel my fuckin heart hurt!
Walking towards the hospital to visit her, I would dread it! Dreading having to see her in so much pain and not being able to do a damn thing about it. BUT, I had to suck it up, man-up . . . . . . it wasn't about me --- it was about her
Us spending time together, bringing her favorite treats, 'Pastel de Nata' (custard pastries), tucking blankie under her tiny feetsies, gently stroking her tummy, listening . . . . . feeling the memories of her early (young-youthful) years in Canada.
