Its true that the carbon tax is minimal, it won't make a massive difference nor will it cost much either.
You're just doing spin. The reality is it won't make any difference at all to global emissions. None whatsoever.
To use an analogy, it's similar to a weight-loss program that costs hundreds of dollars each year to help a person lose 0.0001 lbs.
No one would describe that as "minimal." It is nothing. There's no bathroom scale anywhere on this planet that can measure a weight loss of 0.0001 lbs.
And no sane person would think spending money on that weight-loss program was a rational investment.
The equally microscopic reduction in global emissions that come from Canada's carbon-pricing scheme is equally meaningless.
