LOL, That is funny. Wonder if the illegal immigrants were citizens from Italy and France and were escaping from the Extreme Right Wing Governments who are elected or maybe elected. Would the right wingers in Canada have any objection to them arriving here where it is more sane, in comparison to the hate mongering that these people will be subjected to???
LOL! Can't rewrite history, darling. Mussolini was an ardent socialist and a leading Italian socialist at that. The Italian fascism that he created was built on the socialist foundation with an economic twist. The alternative, at the time, was the bolshevism which was simply a nightmare that could not be adopted to the Italian society. Had Mussolini taken a page from Franco's playbook, he'd never end up hanging upside down at the gas station.
Those illegal immigrants are escaping countries devastated by climate change, war and despots (quite a few of those countries at the hand of US policy they keep backing).
They support the policies that drive people from their homes and then whine when they try to come here or there.
Legislation has already been passed in this regard. Canada will no longer accept refugee claimants from the US.

Sure he was initially a Socialist who denounced Italy's stance in the first world war. But then he changed his views and supported Italy for taking that role in the First World War. He was then expelled by the Socialist Party for his far right wing views and then united all the far right parties to form the Fascist Party. He formed the Far Right "Black Shirts" that terrorized the other Political parties and helped to increase the fascist influence. In 1922 he was established as the PM of Italy and dismantled all the democratic institutions. Mussolini toed Hitler's policies with discrimination against the Jews and invasions of Ethiopia and Greece. So he was a far right Fascist!!
Generally most if not all the immigrants who come to Canada are those that are wealthy. They have added billions of dollars to the Canadian economy. This is something that the anti-immigrant ones never like to acknowledge. The ones who are refugees unfortunately have had to fled with just their own personal belongings and very little in terms of their own investments. Thankfully, they have not succumbed to brutal violence and killings. These are the ones that need our help. No doubt one day they will repay their assistance many times over when they work hard and thrive to repay the Canadian Government back in terms of taxes and investments.
Agreed, its actually fairly hard if you're not coming from a targeted country, you need 5 people supporting your application.
The only ones we really need to worry about are those escaping Trump to the south of us and coming here illegally.
