Minor nit-pick.

Does it bug you when a provider calls you "Babe"?
Should I cringe when providers call me "Babe", even when they don't know me from Jack?

It's part of the marketing package I suppose. It's the language of the trade.
I'm gonna pause here and come right out and say that it bugs me. It's over-familiar IMO and kind of icky.

So what's a fella to do?
I don't want to get all huffy 'cuz it's really not all THAT important. How should I politely encourage providers to stop doing it?

Signed,
I'm not a "Babe", I'm a Jabba

"Babe" and "honey" is a definite sign of low-mid level seasoned provider (I wanted to write "hooker" since it better describes these types of providers). They are too much into this business and their live became this business. I never repeat with them. Better girls (e.g., most of Mirage agency) and new to this (early 20s and not doing it for long time) usually take the effort to memorise your name for an hour you are with them or avoid calling you by any name whatsoever.

Bugs me too. That said, I note that this term is not used by the “higher end” providers.

This must be lesson one in escort school. Always call your clients "babe" and "hun." I would say it's quite rare to find a lady who does not use one of these terms.

A lady told me once she does it to avoid using actual names.

As long as she rocks my world I could care less what she calls me :high5:

Depending on the other content of the text, I would likely just move on given the "I need a shower" feeling.

I do think most of those replies are from canned texts, so I give those latitude, but if the response is in context, I feel as though it is nothing more than, "Whatever you want babe" until you get in the door, then everything changes.

Mostly, the good ones do not use that term, so generally, I find it best to just turn away (with all due respect to Pool...fuck you or fuck you over is always the question).

Yes it bothers me enough that if her ad says babe or BB in French I will simply not inquire about her or her services.
A complete turn off for me sorry.

I sincerly don't give a shit how she calls me.
Yes, it does sound fake, yes it can be annoying, but at the end of the day, I don't care.
I don't really care either how she calls me - Hon, Babe, Love, Sugar...., it's a term of endearment. The most important thing is for her to treat me well.

It doesn’t bother me if they call me “babe” or “hun” but I wish they would refer to me by my real name on occasion. I’m not your husband or boyfriend.

But what's the alternative? "Why yes, my good sir!"?
Actually that response would make me chuckle, which would only further endear her to me. Seems like something my retired favourites would have said. A sense of humour is hot in a lady.

But more to the topic, yeah the random “babe/honey” from a total stranger is cringy. Same applies to dancers.

It really doesn't matter unless you are someone that gets distracted easily.

It's all in the mind and it's just a name plus you're only there for hh or 1h.

Yes, "babe" is just too familiar for someone I don't even know. Rather just stick to the LFK, DFK, DATY, DIGITS, DATO, CBJ, BBBJ, FS, etc, etc until we get to know each other a little better

I'm a fan of babe. I call my GF babe and use it pretty causally, though I wouldn't on a first meeting.
