LOL A couple of years ago they were bitching that the levels were low
That's when it was all about Global Warming. Now it's just Climate change.

There's way more water run off (thank you parking pads and paved front and back yardage), and way more condo toilets flushing and doing laundry into Lake Ontario.

Here's the thing. We have a surplus of water. California is short of water. Why don't we sell our surplus water to California? Heard on the news that California, Oregon and Washington State are preparing for a brutal forest fire season this year.

The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact is an agreement between eight Great Lakes states and two Canadian provinces to regulate diversion of water from the Great Lakes basin. Shipping Great Lakes water out of the Great Lakes basin is prohibited.

I assume that agreement was struck before we start having "once in a century" floods every 2 years.

Wow. What a scientific analysis. Do you really think that Downtown Toronto is to blame for all of the great lakes rising, the Ottawa Valley and Muskoka flooding, etc?

Anyone who knows the history of the residents (squatters) on Ward Island would be hard pressed to feel sorry for them. Karma is a bitch.

It's funny they always point to climate change, and include this mass urban development as part of climate change.

When there were just a few hunderd thou of us humans cooking over open fires, we had minimal effect on the environment. But six billion of us have totally changed the environment across the planet with our "mass urban development", and that has changed the climate.

Low water levels are caused by global warming. High water levels are caused by global warming...
Let me add to that, droughts are caused by global warming but heavy rainfall is also caused by global warming :biggrin1:

Its smart though, because this way all their bases are covered. The science is settled MAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!

LMAO good find!

It's from 2012, so they stopped using the term 'Global Warming' by then. From Global Cooling in the 70s, to Global Warming in the 90s, to Climate Change in the 2010s.

Yes, the climate changes. Yes, humans contribute to it. Let's reduce our imprint. Good. Everything else is noise. The alarmists can go back home now and sit quiet.

Yes, climate change.
Extreme weather events are symptomatic of climate change.

Some day you guys will get it, after all, most kids understand it now.

For now, I won't bother losing any sleep over it. I'll continue to recycle, though. Okay?
