Thanks for proving my point that the word 'collusion' was never used in this criminal investigation into Russian electoral fuckery.

The real point is that jcpro has already proven the point that he is unable to discuss the topic (of people who have experienced a change in their friends/family that they think Fox News had a part of) without going off on the "CNN, NYT, WaPo and the rest." libtards et al chant.

"Any links and/or coordination between (...)" Right out of Rosenstein's letter authorizing the Mueller's investigation. Also known as collusion- lovingly embraced by the CNN, NYT, WaPo and the rest.

Schlong nailed it.

You should read your own posts some time.

Actually, now that I re-read the thread, it is you and then I that went off-topic. The original post was a mockery of the double standard Fox news showed for Obama with regards to golfing, executive orders etc.

You brought up the issue of how there are some people who attribute their friends/family going off the Right Wing deep end after becoming entranced by Fox News.

"No matter where the stories came from they all featured a few familiar beats: A loved one seemed to have changed over time. Maybe that person was already somewhat conservative to start. Maybe they were apolitical. But at one point or another, they sat down in front of Fox News, found some kind of deep, addictive comfort in the anger and paranoia, and became a different person — someone difficult, if not impossible, to spend time with. "

I find the human interest side of the story you posted to be far more interesting than the Trump/Hilary/Fox/CNN routine. That's why I took the time to share my experience with a friend.

Try to follow the conversation.

Actually I was following the conversation that evolved. But it was off-topic in that I couldn't be bothered to comment on the fact that Fox and CNN both have their own bias' and present the same circumstances in polar opposite manners depending on who they are praising/defending/criticizing. (Duh!) I just find that conversation a waste of time.

I appreciate the story, it does put some of this in context.

Though I tend to think this thread was started to point out how biased Fox news is, the article I found just confirmed it in a human way, and again supported by your personal anecdote.
Back in the day of real paper and only tv/radio news, it seemed the biases of stations and papers weren't nearly as extreme. In the US, corporate ownership of the media is very problematic, and up here a bit so. Though at least we have the CBC which is monitored for bias.

The Fox crowd is interesting in that they seem to have devolved into accepting only a single source for all views and news. None of the 'left' posters here seem to use just one source the same way.

Do you realize that you were not able to stay on the topic of some people not being able to have a discussion on anything without bringing Fox News, "Truth" , Obama etc? The very point of the original post?
Not sure what you are getting at with this point. I was specifically replying to you and the topic at hand. My point about Fox being critical of Obama is important. There was nothing racist about it. They attacked him on policy and beliefs. What is wrong with wanting to know about his past affiliations with the likes of a Rev Jeremiah Wright. With Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. With Frank Marshall Davis. With his own father. The one he dedicated his autobiography to "Dreams From My Father". Of course nobody else in the media wanted to go there. Obama was their 'guy'. They even went out of their way to hide a picture of him with anti Semite Louis Farrakhan. Fox had every right to investigate this. Anyone who ties FNC to fomenting racism is off base as far as I am concerned.

I agree with you Kirk, President Obama spent a billion $ on his trip to India. Fox is never wrong.

In other news, you could call this "poor Melania" but she made her choice.

Apparently when she shares a bed with America's Greatest President, he subjects her to Dutch Ovens.
