This comes just days after federal judge orders investigation into Trudeau’s Aga Khan island trip to be reopened.
Justin Trudeau is facing yet another investigation.

Following a request from the Conservatives, the Privacy Commissioner has confirmed that he is opening an investigation into leaks of discussions around a possible Supreme Court pick.

The leak was related to the SNC-Lavalin PMO Scandal, as Trudeau loyalists tried to discredit Jody Wilson-Raybould by making up slanderous lies about highly respected Manitoba Chief Justice Glenn Joyal.

Trudeau’s cronies went so far into the dirt that they ended up claiming that Joyal was ‘rejected’ by Trudeau as a Supreme Court pick, when the reality is that Joyal withdrew himself from consideration because his wife battling cancer.

And now, Privacy Commissioner Daniel Therrien is looking into it:

“Privacy Commissioner Daniel Therrien has confirmed he is investigating the Justin Trudeau government’s inappropriate leak on judicial appointments following a Conservative request on March 28. 1/2”

Good.

Since the liberals blocked a request for an investigation by the House justice committee thinking this serious confidentiality breach is just another issue that can be covered up.

It's laughable that lib MP Ali Ehsassi said "this is really becoming an abusive process" "tantamount to investigating journalists ".

Umm no dummy, it's about tracking down who leaked highly sensitive info from the PM's office.

Just another false narrative to suit their own agenda & fear monger.

You'd think Mr. Transparency would actually want the truth.

While I hope these investigations stay in the daylight I think they will amount to little in the way of consequences.

It will be up to voters to see to that.

Now that the Mueller report revealed obstruction of justice and a host of other nefarious activity its congress' moral duty to impeach, in order to state that the POTUS must be held to the law like everyone else.

My bad.

Of course its also worth comparing what you guys think is totally fine under Trump yet super serious with Trudeau.
Or conversely, what you libs think is fine for JT but jump all over Trump about. Works both ways ya know.

I don't think the leaks are a big deal, I'm against government secrecy.
But you guys seem upset about this and not upset with the hilarious daily Trump leaks.
Must be tough for him working with nobody who likes him.

I think whats happening is when one party gets up in arms about something, that same party also gets upset when the shoe is put on the other foot.

I have said this before, politics is subjective. We cant all like the same party. We all have reasons why we like other parties. I tend to like Conservative views more because I own a business. Actually got an email last week telling me my trade lic. renewal fees have dropped to what they used to be before Liberal rule. Went from $130 a year to $60 I use to pay every three years. I see that as govt working for me.
The Liberals were too busy finding ways to take from my wallet that I wasnt happy about. Therefore, I dont agree with Liberal policy. Doesnt mean Im a Trumpster, or anti-anything or Pro-white or whatever I might be classified into. Really dont care.

Politics is like arguing with someone that your religion is correct and theirs isnt. Who is the most correct when it comes to politics or religion? Who knows? But it does make for some good time killing and debating!! LOL.
