Still waiting for DoFo & Andy Scheer’s climate change strategy, assuming that they believe it exists. DoFo keeps repeating how Ontario contributed by shutting down the coal plants. Too bad it wasn’t his government that did it.

Its not my claim. Its the claim being put forth in the law suit. I really dont think you comprehend well. I didnt write the article. If the article was bullshit and foolish, why did the CBC stick their necks out publishing it? I hope they arent in the business of selling fake news to people?

Not back tracking. If you read the article, you would see that it wasnt me how made the claim but it was reported by the Conservative lawyers. I even highlighted in bold and big letters. Where did you think those were my words? I simply posted whats in the article the CBC made.

First of all carbon is the building block of all life form. Take carbon out of the atmosphere and you all die. We've gotten rid of our coal powered plants and our energy cost have risen by over 40%. Our once strong Ontario Industrial base has been eviscerated. In the meantime we've shipped our manufacturing technology to the Far East where they burn coal like it's going out of style.

The carbon tax like all taxes steals wealth from it's citizens. Ask yourself in your lifetime have your taxes EVER been reduced ?

The only thing that is going to start Ontario and Canada onto the road to prosperity is to bring the Bank of Canada in under the Finance Department. We do not need to borrow money. The Government can create money thru the Ministry of Finance and the Mint. Issue the currency at little to no interest. Develop infrastructure programs with cutting edge technology. Encourage the best minds from around the World to come to Canada. Why we spending money on bringing in migrants that just drop the IQ of the Country ten points ?

The Banks & Central Bank need to be brought under control of the Government and work for the people. Not be a wealth extraction tool for the uber wealthy.

Wake the F*&k Up and learn where money comes from and how it is created. And then pick up a grade 6 Science book and learn about photosynthesis.

Not only that it's a regressive tax. It hits poor and middle class much harder than the wealthy. The tax gets buried in the increased price of necessities - food, electricity, gasoline etc. And for what. It has a negligible effect on emissions and temperature increase.
