Marchand was able to get under the skin of your man Williams.

Carolina looks to be coming back down to reality. I'd be surprised if they even win a game.

Looks like the toughest competition so far has come from the Leafs. Boston wins in 5 then sweeps the finals.

They were fortunate they did not have to go through TB or Washington.

Looks like the way to build a winner isn't to just load up on defensemen

...and give the Leafs your mediocre goalie so they will give you their 1st round pick with which you pick up an excellent goalie.

For once Darts got it right with Boston walking over the Canes. No contest. Rask may very well win the Conn Smythe. Or Marchand. Imagine if Marchand wins that trophy.

It pains me to say it but Bruins over Blues in 6. Main reasons 1) edge in goaltending and 2) Bruins 3rd line has been stepping up as playoffs have progressed. I hope I'm wrong here would love to see the Blues hoist SC for the first time in their franchise history.

I am really hoping for a Blues win as I don't like the Bruins in general and really don't like Brad Marchand in particular but the Bruins are the more experienced playoff team so I think they have the edge.

My ideal scenario is that Binnington continues his incredible performance - shuts down the Bruins - wins the Conn Smythe - and Alex Pietrangelo scores the cup clinching goal in overtime recreating the famous Bobby Orr flying through the air goal. (obviously I am not comparing him to Orr - just that it would be storybook finish to the Blues amazing run since early January)

Bozak will celebrate with Kessel. Steen is playing on the 4th line. He's 35 now. Marleau perhaps should play 4th line.

Tori Krug was timed at over 30 kph. That is fast. The young Phil Kessel use to hit that speed.

not always sure...
You and I both. Blues were so much better in GM 2.
As the game went on St Louis looked better and better, and just dominated the overtime.
Looking forward to Game 3.
The Blues were by far the better team tonight - and how they dominated the 4 minutes of overtime was actually unbelievable.
The Bruins never got it out of their own end and I don't think they even got meaningful possession of the puck.
Blues 3rd and 4th lines are golden.

The playoff series this year have all been highly entertaining. Even the defensive games have a ton of action. Good quality hockey all round.

The Blues out hit, out muscled, controlled the boards, fore checked brilliantly and willed themselves to maintain posession of the puck. I despise the Bruins and even though they are the better team talentwise, I am hoping that the Blues can keep this dominant effort going.

Bruins power play is scoring on everyone. No team has been able to stop them.
