A popular movie he produced was put on TV to be aired in a two part series. The public uproar was so great they had to cancel the second part of the movie the next night.

He died bankrupt and suffering with throat cancer, but he was allowed to live in the gardeners house on property he previously owned.

I knew where I had seen him, that was why I could look it up. I never would have known his name. He was mainly a character actor doing bit parts and did voices for cartoons.
