I am very tempted to buy into the hype of our youngsters and raise my expectations from last year but I will stick to the 71-75. Too weak in the outfield and the rotation and the bullpen is already showing a lack of depth, as is being exposed by some sore arms already.
If they do perform better, I think it will be because of Montoyo who brings some freshness and should be good with a younger roster.
Magic number is 162. (Actually, it may be 153, because it means they will have beaten every other team in the east by at least 10-9 in the season series, meaning none of those teams can win more than 152 in the season.)
