I thought you all might have some suggestions of what to watch on Netflix. I've been through the main shows, but can't seem to find any 4 star or 5 star unknown movies/shows.
Any suggestions?

Here's some of my own suggestions:
Lost in Space
7 days out - the restaurant one is great
third frontier
umbrella academy
the dirt - motley cru flick
polar
comedians in cars

Some to avoid:
Yukatan
the heist
pickpockets

Bojack Horseman. It’s not what you think it is. You probably think it’s a wacky, irreverent, Family Guy-esque cartoon about talking animals. It is not. I can’t really explain, just watch it. Watch all the way through the first season before you decide, it starts a bit slow, but the second half of season 1 onward is incredible. Seasons 2 and 3 have 100% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

triple frontier was pretty good.
Triple Frontier could have been awesome, is it?

I forget which studio had the rights, they wouldn't allow Tom Hardy to produce it. He left and Katheryn Bigelow, Mahershala Ali and Channing Tatum went with him. Netflix picked it up and Ben Affleck got the production credit, Casey Affleck dropped out and was replaced by Charlie Hunnam.

In retrospect it was a big mistake, Hardy brought Venom in ahead of schedule. It cost a modest $110 million to make, its grossed $870 million globally.

Ozark was really good. Recommend you get on that one ASAP.
I also enjoyed Altered Carbon. If you're into sci-fi. Preferred it to Lost in Space.
Black Mirror is also good. Third season onwards is better than the first two seasons apparently (I haven't made it that far yet).

That's Julia Garner, she's a great young actress. She was Kimberly Breland, the Senator's daughter, in The Americans. In the end Phil Jennings/Misha didn't have the heart to destroy her life and send her into exile in the USSR.

Alter Carbon was awesome, lost in space just didn't do it for me, except for the evil Dr. She was good.

I would add,

Last Kingdom
You
The Good Place
Bodyguard
Stranger Things
Narcos all 3 seasons
Safe

Fargo

GTA & Thereabouts...
My Netflix favourites (in order):

5C. Orange is the New Black (guilty pleasure, had T&A in the beginning),
5B. Jessica Jones (guilty pleasure, I find her hot),
5A. Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee (I love Jerry and he made something original + I watched it online years ago),
4. Black Mirror (especially the "Metalhead" episode + honourable mention to the online dating episode),
3. The Punisher (really good violence),
2B. Daredevil (really, really good + epic fight scenes)
2A. The OA (credit is deserved for originality),
1B. Stranger Things (loved it x10, original!!!)
1A. Altered Carbon (loved it x10, original!!!)

I've just started watching Ozark. So far so good!

World War II In Colour was the best WW2 history. Oliver Stone's The Untold History of the United States is a must see.

(PS - Fuck ratings)

Two Israeli series:
Fauda: About the Arab/Israeli conflict. About 60/40 in favor of the Israelis. Shows you how futile the situation is over there.
When Heroes Fly: Four former Israeli army buddies fly to Colombia to rescue a woman who is the sister of one of them and girlfriend of another. Supposedly the best portrayal of dealing with PTSD.

Two Spanish series:
Money Heist: About a group of thieves who break into the Spanish mint.
Elite. Four working class kids win a scholarship to the most Elite school in Spain. Two of the actors in Money Heist are also in this one. It has the steamiest sex scenes on TV, other than porn channels.

You have the option of either subtitles or English dubbed in on all of them.

I saw the first episode with the wrestlers ...was good the second ..I stopped watching. didn't check the others yet...
It's a mix. I've seen 6 episodes so far, mostly good. I like the 3rd episode, Witness.
