Doom Patrol is a take off from the series Titans on Netflix. I was pretty happy to see a spin off but haven't gotten around to watching yet.
Never watched Titans but Doom Patrol has a higher audience score than Titans. In parts its frikin hilarious, well worth your time Jessica.

Matt Bomer plays Mr. Negativity. He doesn't hide his gayness but it's natural. He's not a weak ass actor like Anthony Rapp.

I'm finding I am moving more away from Netflix and more towards Crave. Anyone else losing interest in Netflix
I find it harder and harder to find anything good.
Don't have crave though and prime isn't any better.

And no legal way to do game of thrones, other than crave.

I thought game of thrones was on HBO? I wanted to check it out seeing as everyone is talking about it but I don't get HBO and when I asked how else I can view this, nobody had any interest in helping or suggestions. So Crave carries HBO stuff???

Because of this post, I decided to check out the content on Crave and I have to agree, seems to have more stuff I like. Probably going to subscribe to it.

I don't currently have a subscription to Netflix and don't plan on it any time soon.

Crave sent Shomi to the showers and was doing the same to TMN, Rogers did a deal with Bell to merge under the Crave banner. That gives subscribers access to HBO, Showtime and Starz as well as ancillary content from WB outside of HBO. Crave also has the complete Star Trek from Shatdom to Discovery. As well as original content like Letterkenny and Cardinal.

April Bowlby as Deborah Kerr,in Doom Patrol, and Madeline Wise nearly saving the mediocre Crashing are the biggest surprises of 2019 for me. Not sure what Pete Holmes was thinking writing Wise out at the end of S3, HBO promptly cancelled the series.

Maybe now Ms Wise can get her own HBO series.

Season two, is ok but not a true story like season 1.

Specifically if you follow the real stories of organized crime. For example we now know that 100 billion was laundered by the Mob in Canada alone.

Season 2 has only one guy doing everything and taking on everyone. But season 1 is definitely a hit.

Also, the season 1 story we know what happened, but after Rizzuto died no one really know who is running things. That's why we get all the resent mob shootings.
Talking about mob Pat Musitano is in critical condition.. was shot in Mississauga today

For the ones who love the Narco's series, I recommend Queen of the South.
Very good, currently 2 seasons only but apparently the third one is coming soon, from what I heard.
Gave this a shot, didn't like it all. I can see why you would recommend it if your a fan of Narco's , but I found this to be totally over the top, with way to many twist and turns in the story lines. Narco[s is so cool cause it's based off a true story.

I looked at Crave because it was the only place to offer GOT, but I have Ignite TV and have been scrolling through the on-demand stuff. There was so much available with Crave that I wanted to watch, that when I saw I could only watch GOT, I said fuck it and subscribed. I will have at least 2 months of movies and shows for free while I get my GOT. That was my thought process, but having it has been awesome that I am not thinking of losing Netflix all together and just keep Crave.

I find it harder and harder to find anything good.

Part of why I got Crave. I got it free for 2 months which would cover GOT this season. LOL

I've found Netflix to be a goldmine for foreign (aka non-American) series.

I just finished Quicksand, about the trial of a young woman accused of shooting her classmates. It's the Swedish version of Elite, another excellent series, only this time it's Spanish. It also has some of the hottest sex scenes I've seen on TV. Both series are excellent.

Speaking of hot sex scenes, the opening of Suburra has an orgy scene with so many participants that you can't figure out who is with whom. This one is an Italian crime series involving the Mafia, Catholic Church, unscrupulous land developers, Gypsies and everyone else in Rome. I suggest you read up on the first two or three episodes before viewing them. It's a bit confusing at the beginning to figure out which crook belongs to which gang.

I'm watching Suburra as well and I'm half way through season 2...what a collection of critters and dirtbags there are there.....the MILF who is seeing the cops son is quite easy on the eye as well as the wife of the City Councillor.

Is Gomorrah still on Netflix, the series on the Camorra based on the Matteo Garronne film? Watched an episode of it, it was excellent. Also want to watch Stranger Things, can Uma Thurman's kid can actually act?

I had never seen it or knew much about it, but I watched Dazed and Confused last night. Several cast who have had very good careers and just a fun vibe that captures that bell bottom era well. I finished hight school in '71 and these guys finished in '76.

One of the greatest shows I have ever watched...Money Heist.

Its brilliant, acting is at its prime and really powerful and present female actresses, intelligent, funny, witty, emotionally stimulating, adrenaline rush, psychological thriller...words cannot properly describe this greatness.

Watch it in its real language with English subtitles.
