They promised not to use Omnibus bills so there was transparency for voters. Timing is also suspect.

I think voters are having an issue with this. Judging from their reactions.
Well maybe they did it with the connivance of other parties? In either case the Harper govt had lots of Omnibus bills. If all parties agreed to the bill, how do you really expect more transparancy? you think the average Canadian watches the house of commons everyday? Do you? We have a representative democracy, not a direct one. When you see the furor about SNC you quickly realize what a shit show a direct democracy would be.

And conservative as well.

By the way Scheer met up with the CEO of SNC-Lavalin to discuss the DPA, and Bernier is having a go at him for doing so:

We know that Scheer is a hypocrite. But now the right wingers are attacking Bernier for pointing that out. Look at the responses where they are taking a dig at Bernier.
I dont care about the parties. I'm not a member. I care about accountability. And transparency.

This isn't about partisanship. It's about possible corruption.

Are the NDP who are also calling for an investigation "Right wingers"?

I think not.

.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

As someone who spent the last 2 years defending Trump's fraud, lying, nepotism, emoluments, profiteering and electoral fuckery you are the antithesis to a defender of transparency and accountability.
Do you own a mirror?

More Trump Trump Trump. Because you can't seperate anything from him anymore.

This is about Trudeau. And his problems with the truth, accountability, obstruction of justice, promises broken and dismissal of voters.

I look in the mirror just fine.

Which NDP leaders met with the SNC CEO to discuss their DPA? What corruption are you going on about? JWR was told to give her full testimony at her question time with the Committee. It was her choice what not to disclose at that time. But now she has provided her texts etc. So let's see where this goes. Otherwise, it will go on and on about he said / she said.

You were very nervous about testimonies and lack of transparency, when it came to a certain PGOTUS down South. So stop this accountability concern of yours!!

I am. Tried and true.

Your issue is you keep trying to make it about the poster. When it should be about the topic. It's a default position you have including simplistic name calling.

And then as well default to Trump Trump Trump. Or Harper Harper Harper.

To try to deflect the topic.

Anyway Trudeau is indeed in trouble over this. It's not going away. No doubt it will simmer down over the summer but as soon as the election is called all the commercials and memes being crafted now will come pouring out to remind voters of all his broken promises and fake posturing.

But they are calling for a full public inquiry which the Liberals are refusing to do. And shutting down existing ones.

Is the NDP wrong as well? Corrupted by Corporations? I think not.

Everyone else note my previous post and the last paragraph above.

We will see if as you claim that Trudeau is in "trouble". If he really is then the rest of the World will be laughing at the pettiness that a PM gets in trouble while it is just a routine in their nations. I mean look at the scandals down south that are okay with you and you passionately are defending it.

Now it was just like it was Clinton, Clinton, Clinton with you. Or Obama, Obama, Obama. Presently, it is Trudeau, Trudeau, Trudeau. Well it was okay for you to deflect whenever you wanted and we did not give a damn then. An example of right wingers hypocrisy is stuff like a Terrorist thread somewhere half way across the Globe, and we hear stuff like "Jihadi" Justin will pay the terrorists to come here, and more crap like that. Why were you so hush, hush, then about those deflections??

But like the rest of the right wingers it always seems to hit a sensitive nerve when we mention not Sanders......... but Trump. Bahahahahahahaha!!

Again a full enquiry, when originally it was getting the AG to testify before the panels and that was that, until her testimony seem to have been contradicted by the others who gave their testimonies. We know that it is "sweet nothings" especially after the Committee have decided that it is not necessary. All that the desperate Conservatives and NDP are trying to do is garner votes when they are trying to turn it into a scandal. Good, that now it is time to talk about real policies and Baby Scheer to reveal what his "Carbon Emissions Reductions" policies are about and how he is going to achieve it. Also, he needs to spell out how much he is going to give away to the rich Corporations and the highest income earners, as that is all he will have in his budgets / election platforms!!

Show where I bitched about Obama? I never had any issues with him. Clinton yes. Beyond all her political stances I disagree with she rigged the primary. And cheated Senator Sanders.

As always with these things, it isn't the crime, it's the coverup. The Liberals are acting guilty, which makes people assume they are. My liberal supporting friends and a wee bit nervous.

You should be too.

Not bothered in the very least, as this will be water under the bridge in the coming weeks, although this will be all that Baby Scheer will use to try and deflect what his policies are all about.
Anyway, Trudeau went on to note that an ethics commissioner will look into this matter, and that an “objective look at what actually happened” is taking place.
He has also named ex-Liberal justice minister Anne McLellan as a special advisor who will examine questions that have been raised amid the controversy.

But we know that this is far more than what the previous administrations did when they ran into the scandals!!
