I have in the past liked a provider and thought about seeing her. I use Twitter to get to know the provider usually in a positive way but there are times that what the provider has said turned me off to the idea if seeing her. Has anyone else made a similar decision

There is one lady I had previously seen, and enjoyed, whose Twitter posts have scared me away from seeing her again.

There are also several ladies who I've seen or are on my radar for the future because of their tweets.

YES.

I think twitter is a powerful tool for advertising but some ladies tend to create allot of drama and constant bitching through it. They also tend to create allot of unnecessary controversies. I agree it really turns me off to see that. I think as a business woman, they should stay positive, advocate for rights, health, and beauty and make lots of sexy selfies and videos!

Yes, these days I prefer to stick to my regulars but if I do see someone new, I always try to follow her on twitter first. I find twitter more often convinces me not to see someone, than to see someone. It's a great screening tool.

Thanks for all the responses. This reinforces why I haven't created an account.
A few times over the past year or so I checked out a few provider's accounts I was interested in and for the most part I was turned off from seeing them.

I agree with Rapha El on this one.

It works both ways. Following a provider can both draw you in and repel you. It's more info for us to make good decisions about who we invest our hard earned dollars into. I've so far been lucky making choices from following Twitter accounts. Only been using it since last summer, but hopefully my winning streak continues. Been off TERB for about a year when I lost my long-term account because I posted a warning about certain practices I had seen an SP advertised. I decided to try other ways, which included Twitter. Now I'm back as I think combining both will probably work well. Will post some reviews soon about my experiences with some of those lovely ladies to contribute once again.

Some forget Twitter is about marketing themselves to the clients instead some show their true colors and it's evident the hostility towards men in general. The clients want a fantasy not a nag that is usually available at home for free and some ladies just don't get it.

More times than not, Twitter works against an SP rather than in her favour...
I found it sort of reinforces my trepidation on some ladies, so i agree on that front. However i once did see a lady because of her tweets (the great but now retired Nyomi Blu). Even though this world is not dating, her gentle sweetness combined with love of learning and mature clear-eyed perspective on things just leapt out as particularly awesome human being. I would not have reached out to her otherwise.

No nagging about how men use text apps, no bitching about how and what men should do or not, no controversies and no negativity. She probably gets hundreds of useless texts from idiots and lots of fake booking ect.. But I never seen her complain or bitch about it. Only positivity and hot vibes!
I don't think some of them have an issue with text apps themselves, text apps never hurt anyone. I feel for all the good guys who do use them. The real issue is they find the vast majority of not so good clients use text apps which by far doesn't mean all text app users are not good clients but some guys take it personally. They do need to protect themselves in some way. If you don't feel they have any right to protect themselves then maybe...(and no, not you in particular PC)

My point isn't about the safety or use of text apps, she absolutely has the right of running her business the way she sees fit. Hoffa asked if a SP's twitter log effects your decision and all Im saying to that is yes, it turns me off when I see a few ladies (I won't name who) that constantly moan about the use of text app. That in my opinion, turns me off and I don't see her based on that. Unpopular opinion? Ok sure, but it's my opinion!
I agree. There is a big difference between those who constantly moan about them and those who simply dislike them or won't see clients who use them without a reference. We don't always have to be of the popular opinion either and I wasn't judging that.

Don’t really care, though it does irk me when somebody refusing a sizeable donation from me then goes on Twitter to complain that her business has been poor or needs somebody to buy her lunch.

Social media generally. Complaining about clients is a bad look. I get there are total idiots out there. There are a couple gals I avoid completely because of the oversharing on fb/twitter.

Interestingly enough I just saw a post by an SP that I was considering seeing who just ridiculed a customer she saw around their harmless post-sex conversation, why I was surprised is that I would have never expected her to post something like that. I think SPs "forget" potential customers are reading their posts?!

It doesn't make much difference to me personally.
I'm only there to meet them for a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour fun fun session.

Personal remarks on twitter with regards to others bear little influence on me other than laughter.

What's next? If I don't like what the mayor my city or the prime Minister of my country says on twitter or on TV should I move away?
Lol

This doesn't make sense in regards to the question. No one is asking you to move away if you dont like something on Twitter. That would be drastic. However, if you dont like what your mayor or PM says you can not vote for him. That would be more in line with not seeing a provider based on her comments.

it goes both ways. i have decided not to see a provider after her posts but I also wouldn't have known about a provider who ended up being one of my best experiences without twitter

I did meant it sarcastically, hence the lol at the end.

But one thing for sure is that everyone in their lifetime will say or do stupid things a few times. Some just hide it better than others.
To me if I'm voting or choosing it'll more be about policies and if this person gets thing done or not. Not what he/she says in spur of the moments.
Sometimes certain people will say the most perfect things but they are just good at hiding their agendas.

Again, I'm not there to be long term friends with the provider. I'm just there to have a short period of fun.

There are too many people that says dumb things here and there but they are hot as hell and gets the job done in the sack. I'll be leaving happy after the session and life goes on.

Relentless complaining on Twitter is a red flag, but pointing out idiots is not (some of the stories are pretty funny). One thing to keep in mind though is that a lot of providers are using Twitter as a shared community rather than as marketing, and really don't care if it drives some possible clients off.

The CuriousCat threads are particularly interesting, for some of them anyway.
