It could be argued Biden's national numbers are also unimpressive, given the advantage he has over most of the pack when it comes to name recognition.

Methinks his polling is skewed. Too many older Dems, not enough younger ones and independents.

The Senator won this in 2016 with over 56% to Clinton's 39%. I doubt his numbers have dropped like that.

Which does indeed make one suspicious.

Quite early. But with all the focus in the removal of Trump people are motivated and anxious. The scrutiny will be as bad as it's ever been.

Add in the existing polarization and I think convincing early May be more important than ever in the primaries. They are all jockeying for small donation credibility now. And early fundraising.

Looking at Sanders numbers he is well ahead in this and loyalty base.

Beto O'Rourke raised massive $6.1 million his first day in the 2020 race, campaign says:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/18/politics/beto-orourke-first-day-fundraising-record/index.html

Beto raised more than Sanders did in one day, contrary to what you claimed earlier.
I was waiting for this........

He has also refused to disclose Where the donations came from. He won't say how many donators ir the size average of the donations.

And in the first two hours he tweeted out he had raised $5000. Then by Saturday refused to say what was raised. Yet by Monday suddenly he raised just a bit more.......

Hmmmmm

Considering the wealth and connections of both sides of his family and Ties to oil company money methinks he called favors.

Finally his constant polling numbers are at 1/3 to1/4 of Senator Sanders. Not even in double digits. Yet he raises more?

Sanders by the way raised over two million on the same day.

As with Biden. Support a Mile wide and in inch deep. But I am enjoying as DNC Mandarins are now abandoning Kamala Harris.

Already a conspiracy theory in your books. Remember that Obama was relatively an unknown when he entered the race. But there is ample time to turn things round.
Biden has not even thrown his name into the mix but the same Wisconsin Poll reveals Biden as the best candidate to beat Trump by 8 points, while both Sanders and Warren would beat him by just 4 points. With Independent Schultz in the mix, then Biden's lead would be down by 6 points. Obviously, Biden is the ideal candidate as Trump won Wisconsin by a narrow margin in the 2016 elections.

Trump won Wisconsin because Hillary lost it. Both in the primary and the election. Of course actually campaigning in the state might have helped.

Beto is no Obama. The charisma isn't there. And so far he has zero policy. In speeches and on his web site.

Why is it a conspiresy to ask the origin of his donations and more specifically why he wont release that information?

Not to worry mind. The FEC will tell us in a month.

As to Biden he isn't in the race. And hadn't gotten the negative scrutiny treatment yet. It's coming. That and his own "foot in mouth disease" will kill his campaign.

Give Beto time as he is a very new figurehead on the political scene with regards to the nomination. Not saying that he will win, but he like Elizabeth Warren is already campaigning very hard and is already addressing the loss of GM jobs in Ohio:

https://www.nbcnews.com/video/beto-...m-plant-closure-ohio-job-losses-1460831811866

Yes, let the FEC come up with any wrongdoings in the campaign donations. For the time being it is stunning how a rookie actual managed to draw in such a considerable amount of campaign funds. But he is already stirring up a certain positive aura within the nominees:

It isn't stunning if the source is identified as family. He was well short 20 hours in. Then there was no news. He refused to comment. Then suddenly on Monday, 4 days later he had topped it? With poll numbers in single digits?

Every other campaign reported easily because in the computer age you can. Hell he even knew his numbers early and reported them to encourage more.

It's a put up job. Trying to salvage his campaign. The only reason they liked him was because of his fundraising in the Senate race.

Ever stop to think it wasn't for him but to go after Cruz? The most hated seat holder in Washington? And that all the donors from there are giving money elsewhere now in a split race?

He is vapid with zero policy positions. Sorry this is for the President of the USA. You don't get to be a rookie.

You only get to be exposed as one.

LMAO!! Here we go with our polls again.....

Trump will destroy any of those senior citizens.

I thought Warren was going to be a big winner? All of her native friends and other minorities were going to vote for her. Guess they really dont give a fuck?

The polling had nothing to do with Trump directly. It was about the primary.

And if Senator Sanders does indeed become the nominee you may find alot of defecting independents occuring.

Biden's big challenge may be convincing Democrats he's the ideal candidate. As the party goes hard left and embraces nuttiness like the Green New Deal, it seems to have no interest in someone like Biden.

Like the last three times he ran and sputtered out?

What makes him good. Support for the Iraq war? Claims to be co author of the Patriot act? Claims he wrote the Crime bill? Anita Hill hearings? His attack on Millenials?

What exactly are the policies that will excite voters to vote for him? What does he stand for?

The party ignored the energy last election and went with the neocon, didn’t work out that well.

There isn’t really an adult in the race on the Dem side, Biden would be that candidate. He will raise massive money bit money won’t do it.

They are going to spend a year tearing each other apart while Polosi tries to keep her kindergarten class from revolting.

If you have real substance rather than just speculation regarding the Beto campaign donations, then please share.

Beto gallantly battled in a Red State, and lost by quite a narrow margin. Talking about "rookie", currently the POTUS in the Whitehouse was one, and his record displays it.

Well, the most recent poll puts Biden at 28 points. Sanders is trailing him by 8 points and now Kamal Harris has hit double digits and is just a further 8 points behind Sanders. Most analysts have praised her for her very precise Town Hall Meeting. She seems like a tough politician that could be an outsider with a striking chance of winning the nomination. But still a very long way to go, and most pundits are not taking a risk on predicting the outcome!!

These are early days yet, and time will tell. But as stated in my previous post, Kamala Harris' popularity is rising. Some candidates within the Party are offering a Left Agenda. That gives the voters more choice. A Green Deal is a pragmatic approach, as the Country has gone too far right on many policies. One of it is abandoning The IPCC, and instead just rashly abolishing a number of Environmental Protecting Regulations that were in place for obvious reasons.

CNN poll will close to a 6 point margin for error.

Nuff said.
