Any personal development course, book or coach can be a scam if you never put into practice what you learn and stick with it for an extended period of time. The same goes for going to the gym, learning to drive, taking dance lessons, learning a language, etc. If you're hoping that such courses are going to radically change your life while sitting on the couch, then it's definitely a scam. IMO, I think spending money on pro sports teams (tickets, merch, cable channels, betting, etc) is the biggest scam of them all because you can drop big money and will never get anything in return.

You get out of his stuff exactly what you put into it, and he makes that clear. You must study and metabolize the information, and work on your awareness of yourself and apply the information every day. It is not a scam; you just have to work at it. The specialized courses are the most effective. For best results, read his books, know them cold, and read who he recommends before going to any of his courses. It is only possible not to get value from this guy if you insist on learning by osmosis.

What have you learned from him?

I am considering buying a $200 ticket just for the fun of hearing everybody scream when he gets on stage .


I have listened to 10 hours of his tapes while driving. I wrote down any salient points. My list consisted of 6 points. The rest of the tapes was just talk.

BTW, only two of his points did I totally agree with :

1 Set concrete goals and a timeline for achieving them

2 journal everyday

Neither of these ideas are his.

So, I repeat , what have you learned from this guy with no credentials?

I saw him on YouTube claiming cyro chambers are a new age health wonder. There is 0 scientific backing for this claim. He cyro chambers before getting on stage.

Robbins is smarter about the scientific health benefits of cyro chambers than actual scientists who actually do scientific studies?

A great deal, way too much to type here. But, for one thing Neurolinguistic Programming. Changed my world.

Look, he is not for everyone. But, if one keeps their wits about them, AND THEY ARE PREPARED BEFORE GOING TO ANY OF HIS SESSIONS, one cannot help but learn something. But, one has to work at it. Personally, I hate the raw raw shit, but there is a point to it that can be applied in everyday situations .

The main thing to realize about self-help materials and media, is that you can just get wrapped up in the idea of it and not actually sticking to your goals. So you end up just consuming more, thinking it will help you.

Its worth it. Go. you'll have fun, you'll learn about yourself and hone in on what to change and how to change. Just don't be lazy, its your life, you deserve to make it better.

Kudos to these charlatans for seeing the opportunity to take full advantage of these losers as they are able to achieve their life plan of making a shitload of money off gullible people who can’t see the most basic things to become a success or have happiness in their lives.

I think Robbins throws a lot of stuff out there and some of it may be valid for some people but self-help gurus convince you you have a problem you never had then sell you the cure.


I never understood his fire walk. So you walk across hot coals WTF is the big deal? It is an illusion that is easily explained by science so WTF did you achieve? I suspect Rbbins states something like it teaches you you can achieve more than you think you can. While I agree with the sentiment a parlour trick is not gonna achieve anything
