Paradise by the dashboard light.
i don't think selling ones sole can save 2500 stores from closing. For the rest to heel, one must dye

Shoes from them are crap. My best wearing shoes are Pradas. I wear them often and they must be over 10 years old. The sole looks hardly worn. All in all still great condition. Would have gone through 20 payless shoes already.

No one needs beaver hats nowadays.

HomeOutfitters out. There's hardly anyone ever in there.

Who the hell shopped there anyway?
People want good shoes at good prices.
Not cheap shoes at cheap prices.
Found myself at the local mall today and decided to talk a stroll through the Payless store. It's been a couple years since I've bothered entering one and the pairs of winter boots I purchased through the store generally have lasted me 3 to 5 years in the past.

Today, in all honestly there wasn't a single pair of shoes, boots, slippers etc... that even approached being presentable. Everything looked like shit! Wrong colours; wrong styles; shitty material mixing. They must have turned over their entire buyer team in the last couple years. No wonder they are going under if what I saw today was indicative of the products they have been trying to sell.

I used to think paying $200 for kicks was outrageous, but the fact that they last several years makes them a pretty decent investment. It breaks down to cents per day, and they take a beating daily.
