Is it time for a Special Prosecutor for Trudeau?

So in light of the two resignations in the PM's office I wonder if it's time for our own.

Trudeau keeps changing his story, won't let the former AG speak, and appears to be trying to obstruct any inquiry.

The RCMP needs to be brought in. I'm curious if there is a precedent in Canada for an appointed independent council in a matter like this.

But Trudeau promised he was going to do things differently. They for SURE should have someone come in to investigate this, its reeking more and more.

No way Trudeau is that corrupt. Trudeau is in power for one year more than Trump. How many of his cabinet members or staff have been either jailed or indicted?? Look at the number of resignations under Trump v Trudeau. Obviously, if there was anything like pressuring the AG then Trudeau will have to pay the consequences and even step down as PM. But if it was Gerald Butts that was responsible for it and he did it without Trudeau's knowledge then he will have to pay the price for it.

But it is hilarious that butler wants an investigation here, but desperately wants the Trump / Russia investigations to be curtailed.

Butts did something, no doubt now. And no way he did it without Trudeau's knowledge.

Again this was in response to another post, and not my attempt to deflect. Let's take everything into context, okay?

What evidence do you have that Butts did it with "Trudeau's knowledge"?? I am not saying that he did not. Neither, am I saying that he did so. But you are just assuming here whereas in the case of Trump you do a full 180 degrees there by passionately defending Trump and his involvement or lack of it, with all those corrupt doings by his staff. Are you saying that Trudeau micromanages his staff, and Trump is far more more hands off in his style of management??

Actually I've never backed the Yemen war. Ever. As to Venezuela I'd like to see aid get through but in the end it's up to the locals to figure things out.

And you don't think Clinton was a corporate shill? Who would have gone full war in Syria? Backed Yemen to the hilt? Already have troops in Venezuela?

You weren't following Libya and Syria when was SoS were you?

He is coming home from Syria and soon Afghanistan. That's a start.

There's a Catch-22 in being Top Dog anywhere, and empowered to have everything your way, with people to make it happen. You are responsible. (That's a big period) You don't get to plead ignorance of their doings, not even if it is the honest truth. As Top Dog, you are no longer entitled to be ignorant of anything. If you didn't know, you should have.

The difference between Trump and Trudeau, is that Donny's made an entire life-career out of pretending to be Top Dog (famously, at last on TV), while others did everything and he denied anything could be wrong. Trudeau's doing the real job, for his first time.
