According to the latest court documents posted by Mueller as a reply to Stone trying to change judges, Mueller's investigation of the DNC hacks involved search warrants that came up with evidence of the DNC hacks, GRU involvement, wikileaks involvement and Roger Stone's involvement.

What that means is that Mueller executed a search warrant(s) on evidence related to the DNC hack and it led back to Stone. Notice that Mueller emphasized that the Stone did case did arise from a common search warrant, which was contested by Stone’s lawyers as “not likely.”
From Mueller's submission:
In other words, the criminal conduct alleged in Netyksho was a central focus of the congressional investigation that the defendant is alleged to have obstructed, and therefore the activities underlying the crimes charged in that case are part of the same activities underlying the crimes charged in this case. The defendant’s false statements did not arise in a vacuum: they were made in the course of an investigation into possible links between Russian individuals (including the Netyksho defendants), individuals associated with the dumping of materials (including Organization 1 [WikiLeaks]), and U.S. persons (including the defendant).
The analysis and court docs are here:

This means that Mueller has evidence of conspiracy (or collusion for the trumptards) that links the DNC hacks directly between the GRU to Assange to Roger Stone.
That puts the direct evidence of conspiracy at Trump's advisor, who he called repeatedly late at night and tried to so with blocked numbers and off the record.

Which would mean that Mueller only needs to connect Stone to Trump to make a case.
Wonder if Manafort's recommendation of 29 years in prison will be on Stone's mind....

When Mueller's Office makes another bombshell disclosure of definite contacts between Sone and Wikileaks, it is obvious that Stone has two paths to move forward. One really co-operate and disclose all his real shady dealings that will implicate Trump directly. The second more very likely option is for him to blatantly lie like he has been doing so all along, and take the Manafort route to jail. Then like Manfort's train of thought, he will expect Trump to pardon him. This is the highest level of corruption under the Trump regime, that his base love. You can be the biggest and shadiest crook, then blame the corruption on your opponent and use it to protect yourself and your crooked buddies. But brainwashing your base into believing that he is working for them, is the only thing that you can give Trump credit for!!

Exactly, whether the 'best people' that Trump hires around him will turn into 'rats' or spend the rest of their lives in jail.
It really is a good test of moral character, isn't it?

Do you do a Cohen or Page and tell Mueller everything or do you risk a Manafort and hope Trump lasts long enough to pardon you?

His blatant bullshitting even after he was arrested, suggests that he will do a Manafort so as to be pardoned by Crooked Trump. Obviously, like Manafort, he is hoping that Trump lasts long enough in order to pardon him!!

There's an excellent blog post on Stone's gag order hearing.
Sounds like Stone and his lawyer are in for a very rough trial considering how easily Judge Jackson took them down and that he stands a very real risk of the FBI catching him at perjury during the hearing and being locked away sooner.

In the process, she did a number of things:

Impose a gag that a Twitter account bearing Stone’s name may have violated within an hour

Get Rogow and Stone on the record explaining why the terms of her gag won’t impact Stone’s ability to make a living, undercutting a significant part of the First Amendment claim they’ve been making

Provide a basis for the gag that Rogow did not anticipate, which may be far harder — and politically more difficult — to challenge

Provide an opportunity for both the prosecution and herself to catch Stone in multiple sworn lies (which, again, I’m sure the FBI is busy at work proving now), which if charged as perjury would lead to Stone’s immediate jailing

Here’s why, I think, this was allowed to happen. For Stone’s entire life, the press has coddled Stone, treating him as a nifty character whose toxic speech doesn’t damage society. ABJ was having none of that, and used both Rogow’s position as an officer of the court and Stone’s insane willingness to take the stand to get them to acknowledge that his speech is toxic, that it does pose a threat to society. Stone presumably wasn’t prepared for that because no one has called him on his toxic speech before.
