Here
I ordered a pizza last night from a local place in my area and arrives hot and top notch as always, however I notices I always order the same thing. So what do you people put on your pizza and what different combos. Ive heard of gourmet places that have some really cool toppings

I enjoy a variety of toppings but I never put anymore than 3 items per pizza (not including sauce and cheese)

Classic - Pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers
Diavola - Hot soppressata, hot chili peppers
My usual - Italian sausage, green olives, onions
Classico Louie - marinated artichoke, hot banana peppers, pesto
Great Canadian - bacon, pepperoni, mushrooms

Not so easy to find in Canada, much more common in the US, but I like meatballs, extra cheese, tomato slices, and fresh basil and garlic. Just wish more places here did meatballs on pizza. It’s incredibly underrated. You can get it from Pizza Pizza, but their pizza is terrible, so that’s not super helpful.

Pizza Pizza is putrid. I'd rather eat my own vomit.

I agree. I usually go Cora, Papa Ceo, or Conspiracy Pizza on ubereats. If I have to go with a chain place, I’ll go Papa John’s.

Canadian pizza ...I have avoided since 2005 lol. Has it improved since then? Aussie pizza has some abysmal combos...fried egg and potato, etc.

You can not beat the pizza in Montreal. It is a less thick version of the Chicago deep dish pizza. (Cheese, meat sauce, peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms, optional bacon and capocollo sausage ) As Jim Treliving ( Dragons Den ) owner of the Boston Pizza franchise said, the franchised pizza places have a hard time competing with the small local pizza shops in Montreal because they are so good.

Back in the 90's, there was place in my area called Tony's. They did meatballs (they were big meatballs so they would cut them in half and quarters) and it was amazing.

Typically I’m fairly consistant with my pizza... pepperoni, hot peppers, onions and mushrooms. Yesterday, spent an afternoon with a friend and had the experience of something new, something great.

Italian hot peppers, soppresata, extra cheese and sauce and think crust. Fabulous is all I can say. My new fav.

I always used to love Amato's spiked pepperoni.

It was pepperoni pizza with minced garlic on it.

It made my breath smell like ass but holy shit that was some good 'za!
