I get tested for marijuana in my system. Can that blood test, or saliva test, detect microdose of psilocybin that I had a few days before?

Marijuana stays in your system for months. A microdose is still a dose to the blood stream.

Just a question. Why even bother with a microdose? To me its like saying you just want to lick the beer bottle cap?

But is a blood test designed to detect the after effect of a trip?

Ok. Let's talk.

I am a newbie and have not done psychedelics. A friend took me to a party where everyone was microdosing. YOU COULD NOT TELL BY TALKING TO THEM. Anyways, it turns out this is common with psychonauts (that is what they call themselves) . Microdosing makes you sharper, more aware, more creative and you notice things you otherwise miss. This is what I am told and talking to these people verifies it to some extent as they all seemed quite bright and capable.

A couple of the psychonauts did suggest microdosing works a lot better after you have had the experience of a full blown trip.

Oh. Then in that case, starting small then working your way up makes sense. It will be in your blood test if someone is looking for it.

Here
Chemicals will stay in your system for at least 4 to 5 days depending how much water you drink. Weed can stay in your system for up to 6 months. Some places at starting to take a hair sample because you can detect drugs in hair for months

The OP asked about psilocybin - has nothing to do with a cannabis test. Magic Mushrooms are NOT weed.

Usually psilocybin is not tested, they test for the big ones like weed, opioids, coke

The test for marijuana will not detect mushrooms. However, they could take the same blood sample and do one test for pot and another for the shrooms.

This is what the net says ,: Blood and hair test ate unlikely bevause they are invasive. Urine test will check for metabolite psilocin which takes 15 hours to clear from your system. Most urine samples do not test for psilocin because of expense.

no. Those fuckers are gone from a person's blood after 13 hours tops. Even though, a standard five-panel and nine-panel tests, shroooooms blood tests are not included in either panel

I spend too much time on wikipedia but mushrooms dont stay in your system for a long time. 72 hours at the most and its out from what it seem.
Weed as some mention can be up to 30 days.

However the day that they start asking hair dna over blood or urine , a lot of drugs user will be screw

It depends on which substances you are being tested for. Let's say they test for cocaine and pot. In that case it will never detect mushrooms.

I wonder if there's a copy of a legal document that you've signed which outlines what you will be tested for.

I think a better analogy than licking the bottlecap is. Microdosing is closer to having one or two shots rather than chugging the whole bottle of liquor. Catching a buzz vs getting wasted. Typically for me a mushroom trip based on one or two grams turns into a 4 hour experience where it is tough to hide that you are intoxicated.

I do not think they can as it is too invasive. They are stuck with saliva and breath tests.
A friend got denied entry into the Royal Canadian Military College because they detected lsd in the tests they perform prior to admission. She wasn’t specific on the test however they detected it years after she did it.

If you are negative, The certificate will state that you were tested for pot and cocaine. Just the two substances requested, but the test does everything. So if anything comes up, they will specify the substance except alcohol, that was is different.

Depending on test they can go back as far as 2 years. But that will only show on regular users, not occasionally.

The test she had was more complex and is guaranteed to detect drugs up to 120 days after use.

Sad. Psychedelics will soon be legal medicine. Already are in some countries. Already are in Canada if you have a permit to do studies
