Pouille probably played one of the best matches of his career. Milos looked amazing the 1st 3 games, but then Pouille made some adjustments and clearly outplayed Milos after that.
I think that it was more Pouille playing very well than Raonic choking (only one "C"). Pouille executed a game plan.
So is Genie.
She faced her Canadian paisana Bianca Andreescu at the Oracle Challenger Tournament and got crushed 6-2, 6-0. Unlike Genie, Bianca made nothing but mistakes when she arrived on the tour. 2019 is going to be different, she reached the Finals at the New Zealand opener but ran out of steam in Melbourne. Unlike Genie she can beat anybody.

What exactly did she mean by that? Canadians come in a multitude of ethnicities. Did she mean white looking Canadians?

She seems to have an aura of composure and serenity about her. She does not get overly excited. Is that a Japanese thing? Part of their culture?
Naomi Osaka has the best of both worlds.

I'm almost certain this is how Ms. Osaka gets her on court composure. If true she's going to be hard to beat.
Bianca Andreescu has won her first tournament, the Oracle Challange, the first of many. Her rating will rise past 100th, hopefully she won't need to qualify for the French. She played one too many matches and bowed out in Australia.
