You need to "create" time that you're regularly away from home.
Sounds like you are at work all day, then expected to be home at all other times.. so you need to find some "extra" time:
1. Go to work an hour early or stay an hour late one day a week. You have that "Long thursday afternoon meeting" every week, etc.
2. Pick up a new hobby. Model railroading, soccer, etc. Sign up for some groups that meet twice a week then only go once a week
3. Create a friend. Bob from high school and I get together every other Thursday after work.. he moved far away and now he's back living 1/2 hour away from my house, etc. Make sure it's the type of person that your wife hates so she wont' want to meet him. If she hates you watching football and anything about the sport, then Bob is an ex football player and you guys shoot the shit about football for an hour straight over beer. She'll be so repulsed she won't even ask about him.
4. Long trips to Home Depot (first one didn't have what I needed, had to go to next town). Come back and finish the plumbing job 'extra happy'
5. Get a Jays season pass for the shittiest seats and go with a guy you 'used to work with'. He lives on the other side of the GTA so you meet downtown at the game every week or two. Then don't go at all.
6. Help a buddy restore his '67 Mustang. Hours and hours and hours just trying to get the gasket seated before you can install the waterpump, etc.
Make sure you know enough about one in case your wife ends up having a coworker doing the same thing.. you should be able to speak intelligently enough that it sounds like you are actually helping ('but my buddy is the real expert.. I just help")
