I tried watching the current WWE product and found it underwhelming. Not even Ronda Rousey is helping, fans have taken to giving her The Bronx Cheer.

Part of the problem is that Shane McMahon can no longer do hard core matches, he's going into film production. So far every film the WWE has made has been D-movie shit. Under Shane-O-Mac that may change.

He's partnered with The Rock to produce Fighting With My Family, the inaugural film of the Shane regime. The film is written and directed by former Ricky Gervais wingman Stephen Merchant. He scored BIG writing and acting (Caliban) in Logan. The film is about the wrestling Knight family of Bristol, England. Playing the elder Knights are Nick Frost and Lena Haedy (Game of Thrones), playing their children are Jack Lowden (Dunkirk) and Florence Pugh.

I'm looking forward to it.

Shane has taken some monster bumps over the years, like when the wrong type of glass was installed. Angle must have been shitting himself.

If the film is a box office hit, it will mean that Merchant's days as Ricky Gervais's right hand man are done.

I agree, the men's division is weak...no Kurt Angle, no Stone Cold...No Mick Foley.

In the UFC, Ronda Rousey couldn't defend herself against kickboxers. Maybe Dana White needed the promotion of Rousey as invincible to put bums in the seats. WWE fans resent her presence.

In Judo, defense is critical, Rousey lost a chance at a gold medal in Beijing because of it. She got rope a doped.

Would you like some Gray Poupon with your foi gras?

When my family moved to Toronto, wrestling was what they could afford. We attended numerous Maple Leaf Wrestling shows. And wrestling played a big role in making the CHIN Picnic a annual event. When it started, back in the late 60's it was a party for Italian immigrants and hippies. I don't watch it as much now but it's still part of me. To this day I'll always remember attending the first CHIN Picnic with my parents at Center Island...and the stench of the hippies on the fairy back to the mainland.

And btw, I'm also a patron of the TSO.

I am a long time WWE fan from way back in the 80's, lost interest in the Attitude Era as it was completely stupid but came back a few years back but really only watch the PPV big events now. There are a few issues that are wrong with it, to begin with the WWE just expects a lot of its fans, Raw is 3 hours on Monday, Smackdown 2 hours on Tuesday, a PPV month although cut down from what I believe was 2 per month a couple of years back and let's not forget NXT the 205 lbs show whatever it is called etc etc etc.... It is simply too much viewing to expect of your fans, nobody in the age of streaming and PVR has this kind of time or attention span to watch mostly boring filler on these shows. I for the most part will find a 20 minute highlight package on Youtube the day after.

With respect to Rousey the answer is they simply rushed her into a title way too fast so the fans turned on her, the first appearance she had on RAW she put HHH through a table ( I am all for suspension of disbelief but come on...) half of the entertainment of WWE is how a perfomer does on the mic, Rousey is simply boring on it, she cant act as opposed to countless others (Alexa Bliss is an example yes gorgeous but hilarious on the mic also) All this added up to a PPV recently when Rousey was being choked with a chair by Charlotte Flair and the crowd chanting "thank you Charlotte".

My gumba scouser1 returns! I had a premonition, bought some slat water toffee a few days ago.

Shane and The Rock are banking that Fighting With My Family will have a receptive audience. The film is based on popular wrestler Paige Knight. She retired due to a neck injury last April.

I remember as a kid watching wrestling when the stars were Andre the Giant, Haystack Calhoun, The ********** and his manager with the goofy hat, the Love Brothers, etc. I had and aunt and uncle who were right into it and would attend matches at Maple Leaf Gardens (I think it used to air on CHCH channel 11).

It was okay, but I was more into roller derby at the time.

Currently the most popular wrestler in the world...which must drive Ronda Rousey crazy.

WWE is a good sport and I started to have interest on it fromearly years. Now I`m 25 and I've been doing this for 5 years now. My coach said that I have to try CBD oil for good results in a game. I wasa a little afraid, because it`s a cannabis anyway but than read many information about it and thought about this more adequately. Now I want to buy it but can someone tell about dosage

I loved CHCH Wrestling with Lord Athol Layton. When The Shake showed up with his manager Abdullah Farouk, it was unlike anything I ever say before.

What was the polka music they used as the introduction?
