A short history: I'm a tech-savvy guy. I'm on my third Android tablet. The first two followed the same pattern, every time I upgraded system they got slower, and slower, until the tablets became unusable. So, I'm hesitant to upgrade system.

Now on my third, a nice little Nexus 10, I get an error message dialog every few minutes when viewing YouTube, Netflix, etc. reading "Unfortunately com.google.android.videos has stopped." All the on-line posts I can find suggest clearing the cache of the offending application, but "com.google.android.videos" isn't an application, at least not one that I can access. The only other advice is "upgrade to _________, it will fix all your problems!" Not gonna do it.

Any other ideas out there from folks more Android-centric than I?

Thanks - KK

Never liked any tablets due to being too underpowered.

Can you install BleachBit on your Android tablet? BleachBit 2.0 is the latest version and it is the Linux version of CCleaner for Windows. BleachBit cleans out all the junk that accumulates from just running your PC or tablet slowing it down. I run BleachBit and BleachBit as Administrator once a month to clear out all the junk that accumulates from normal use and it keeps my system as speedy as it was when new.

The "com.google.android.videos" application might be hidden because it's a system program i.e. part of Android. There might be a toggle to 'Show System Processes", or words to that effect. It's usually inside a 3 dot menu at the top-right side of the screen. I'd send you a screenshot, but the settings on my LG G7 will be in a different place and will look different than your Nexus 10.

Would you say it's better than Ccleaner I've been hearing about?

CCleaner isn't available on Linux.
BleachBit does the same job on Linux as CCleaner does on Windows. Been using BleachBit for years to clear the crap out that accumulates from just running any OS.
