Having hard time finding if pics are fake? Fellow board member once provided an easy way to spot those and save time researching reviews and not to mention looking surprised when the door opens.

On PC, There is a Chrome add-in that you can installed.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...e-sear/keaaclcjhehbbapnphnmpiklalfhelgf?hl=en
Once installed, you can right click on the image and it will do 5 searches at once. The best one is Yandex (GIS and Tineye dont often return results)

On Mobile, it is more difficult and time consuming. Tried a few apps with no success. Maybe someone here found an app that works. The only way that I found (Android) is to download the image (press and hold on the image) then go to www.yandex.com/image and select the image from your Gallery.

Hope that you find it useful.

Someone should make this post a sticky in the Classified's sub-forum.

I also recommend using Tineye to get a "second opinion".

GIS doesn't always recognize images that might have been altered, had a watermark added to them etc.

To search an image using Tineye, right click on it, select, "Copy image address" and go to http://www.tineye.com and paste the address in the search field.

Also, if an image is square, that's usually a pretty good indication that it's been stolen from Instagram.

But mostly, as I keep repeating, it's just common sense. If it seems TGTBT, it probably is. Ask yourself honestly if a girl who looks like a professional model, even if it's a bedroom/bathroom mirror selfie, is going to be working out a sketchy location and charging "poverty club" rates.

When it comes to checking for fake pics on MOBILE, I use this site https://www.labnol.org/internet/mobile-reverse-image-search/29014/

The process is similar to Micber’s explanation of using yandex:
1. Press and hold on image.
2. Save image to your gallery.
3. Open labnol.org in a new tab.
4. Press “Upload” and select the image from your gallery.
5. Press “Show Matches”

The website then redirects you to a Google results page with the results of your search.

I like using it because if I’m verifying a provider’s photos, I’ll likely already have the browser open. So, I just open up a new tab and do my verification.

Hope this helps!
