And moving people to the fron of the que or prioritizing them because they are Irish is not problematic. The US could just as easily prioritize or push through Mexicans or Muslims or anyone else. Hmmm what is there about the Irish that make them worthy of priority or pushing through. Really nothing at all to do with legal v. illegal.

Again: 10,500 visas are allotted exclusively to Australia, a portion of which are unused every year, under the legislation those unused visa would be used by those on the Irish waiting list (by the way a number of the countries the protesters mention have a greater number of visas allocated to them.
These are Visa applicants, which means they are going through the legal channel. The US currently prioritizes countries for all sorts of wise and unwise reasons. See quota, chain migration, and shitole comments from earlier in the year.
I see no hypocrisy is selecting one set of legal applicants to approve and opposing illegal (Dreamer) residents. Apples and Oranges.
