That is called an opinion. Now, all the Southern District needs to do is to offer proof that A) the NDAs violated the campaign laws and B) that Trump used campaign funds to pay them off. Remember, John Roberts actually DID use the campaign funds to pay his mistress and the case collapsed, anyway.
Cohen is being sentenced today and will spend years behind bars for what you still call an 'opinion'.
Hilarious.

You really don't have a clue, do you?
Here's a clue for you:

Cohen will go to jail for 3 years for crimes committed on behalf of Individual 1.
And
In addition to three years of jail time, Cohen must forfeit $500,000, offer restitution of $1.4 million, and pay a fine of $50,000.

What are his crimes?
The sentencing was related to two separate cases brought by the Southern District of New York and Special Counsel Mueller's Russia investigation.

Mr Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations for his role in making hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with Mr Trump.

Mr Trump has acknowledged the payments despite denying the affairs, and called them a private transaction unrelated to his campaign.

The special counsel reached a plea deal with Cohen on one count of lying to Congress given his co-operation with the Russia inquiry.

The president's former lawyer admitted to making false statements to Congress about a Trump property deal in Russia during the 2016 election.

Trump's turn has to come, if Cohen already pleaded guilty and Trump has already denied any knowledge of it. The campaign violations will play out, so do not worry!!

You are confused about that comparison to "John Roberts". There was a John Edwards whose case was ultimately thrown out.

But Trump first desperately used Obama's Campaign that was fined for not disclosing it on time. No wrong doing, but just a meagre fine. Now, he is trying to use the Edwards case, and no doubt there are similarities, but also some very SUBTLE differences that will come home to roost!!

Has the Cohen's case been tried? It wasn't, therefore what the fuck are you talking about? When facing 10 to 20 for his financial dealings he would've admitted to bestiality to avoid it. BTW, the jury in Edwards case found him not guilty of accepting illegal donations and failed to reach the verdict on other charges- including lying about payments to his mistress. The JD dropped the prosecution and never retried the case. Do you know why?

Which planet are you on? All you are good at is your usual abusive language. Give it a break!! Since you could not read above I will post a Fox News Guilty charge, so maybe you can believe them:

Cohen appeared before U.S. District Judge William Pauley III for sentencing after pleading guilty to campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress about Trump’s past business dealings in Russia:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cohen-slams-trumps-dirty-deeds-ahead-of-sentencing

What do you think the campaign finance violations were in relation to?? Explain.

As I mentioned there are subtle differences between the John Edwards and The Trumpty Dumpty cases. So read and learn:

He learned it from Jeff Sessions, his former boss.

Please show us your post where you criticized Sessions for doing the same thing during his testimony. If you can't, I think you should zip it and delete this thread, because it makes you look silly.
Maybe you should look at the transcripts first before you make this idiotic comparison.
Comey replied in the negative (I don't know. I don't recall etc) something like 250 times in one day of testimony. Sessions was 47 over 3 days. Of course facts and context don't matter to the left.

The jail time was for tax evasion. The campaign finance conviction is pretty much empty. It was part of his plea to get sentence reduced.

You're really grasping at straws, Kirk.
Trump's personal lawyer is going to jail for 3 years for doing Trump's bidding.
You're loony if you don't think that implicates Individual 1.

What is the standardized cut off point? How many "I don't knows" are required before one can be criticized?
What a dumb response.

And the lying to Congress? That's what got Clinton charged. Saying 'I cannot remember' instead probably looks pretty good to Cohen right now.

Which is not to suggest Comey the Cop is, or was, in anyway in a similar bind as Cohen the Crook; faced with a barrage of prejudiced questioning that could only be responsively answered by insisting they be re-phrased, or by parsing out all the the partisan crap. Parrying with 'I can't recall' seems quite reasonable.

Only in your warped sense of reality is that a dumb response. It's a perfect response - read the questions being asked of each before deciding to equate the two. It's called removing ignorance and bias from the equation. Again stuff like that doesn't matter to the left.

It is legit. You say that 250 is too many but 47 is OK. So what is the cut off point?
