I don't want to put names but there are a few lefties who called me racist for some of the things I have posted and it had to do with refugees and migrants and the caravan. I just said that i think these people need to be properly vetted and that Canada has taken in more than our fair share, We have them staying in hotels, there is no where to put them and I said we should hold off for a while so we can deal with the people we already have here. I have no problem taking in refugees and migrants but there's a limit to how many we can take. I was accused of hating black and brown people, I never said anything racist and didn't deserve to be called one, that's what i meant by tolerance and inclusiveness, just because I disagree with them on some issues doesn't make me racist or deserved to be called one. The great thing about democracy is the exchange of ideas and opinions, We can disagree, but when people call accuse you of being something that you are not that's hardly being tolerant. I also pointed out it was racist to assume all immigrants, refugees and migrants were black and brown and they went ballistic. You and I had an exchange about the caravan and the gassing, but we never insulted each other, just a difference of opinion, just because some people on here are tough on immigration, refugees and migrants, it doesn't mean they are racist, there are other valid reasons besides the colour of their skin . I will say that some righties are blatantly racist but not all of them. I hate throwing that term around because without really knowing someone it's a very harsh thing to say about someone unless the posts are obviously racist.
