Had a few Dell laptops in the past so I do like those...

Looking at Alienware, or maybe an XPS....

What are you looking to do with it? Work computer or play computer. What are your needs?

I tend to stick to ThinkPad or Elitebooks. In my experience they have been great.

GTA & Thereabouts...
I've only bought Workstation class for my work. For that, I only buy Lenovo ThinkPads (w/ full warranty from IBM). I love their keyboards.

For Gaming, I would assume Alienware (which is owned by Dell) is great. Lenovo has gaming stuff now as well.

I'm not a computer 'geek', but is seems the throwaway Gaming computers are the better buy compared to buying Workstation class computers. Most programs run DirectX now and you don't need OpenGL.

Lucifer clearly knows his stuff
If you have the money and want the coolest laptop then get the Microsoft Surface Book 2 at full specs - coolest laptop in the world hands down.
