School Vows Punishment After Dozens of Male Students Do Nazi Salute in Prom Photo

'We even got the black kid to throw it up #BarabooProud,' the now-deleted account tweeted.

Dozens of male students are being investigated by a Wisconsin school district after a photo of them doing a mass Nazi salute on the steps of a county court house circulated on social media.
The students have yet to be identified, but the school district is threatening legal action pending an investigation.
NBC 15 News, the local television affiliate, reported on Monday they called Baraboo School District for a response and to confirm that young men in the photo are infact students at Baraboo High School, but the school only responded saying it was preparing a press release on the incident.

“We even got the black kid to throw it up #BarabooProud,” the now-deleted account tweeted.
A school district official tweeted Monday morning:

“The photo of students posted to #barabooproud is not reflective of the educational values and beliefs of the school district of Baraboo. We are investigating and will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address.”

The UK welcomes free speech, but if that speech is spurring on violence against certain ethnic or religious minorities, or political foes, then it is called "HATE SPEECH".

There Real Free Speech is not tolerated, but jailing, brutal violence and death against the Free Speech / Democracy Advocates are the norm.

I guess Beaver was never a mischievous young lad who did the odd stupid thing without realizing what it meant.

Poor taste? Yes. Inappropriate? Yes. Enough to take legal action? No. Enough to raise a major stink over? No.

If I was the schoolmaster I would remind those boys of the history surrounding that salute and inform that if they want to goof off in front of a photo do what most young lads would do - The one finger salute or pull a moon.

These kids need to learn proper behavior. For example, they would be dead now if they were to display a drawing of Muhammed. Be care who you offend.

You interpreted the picture as well educated young men who were well aware of history and purposely did this as a sign of disrespect/hostility. I interpreted the picture as a bunch of boys who were goofing around for a photo with little to no clue as to what their actions meant.

My educated guess is these students likely have not been taught the extent of Nazi atrocities during WWII. I remember in high school we had Holocaust survivors come in to our class and tell their personal stories. If these students had gotten the same experience this likely would never have gone down.

Someone butt hurt enough over a photo "alleging" a Nazi salute is gonna cost many tax payers thousands of dollars for an investigation.

But it was ok for someone to excuse the "666" symbol presented by the guy in the front row left off center? Im sure Hillary and Podesta thanked him personally?
