This has all been hashed over many times. "The very poor did and do have access to healthcare -- Medicaid. People who work for medium and larger businesses and municipal, state and federal governments, have employer supplied medical insurance.
It is the self employed, and those who work for small firms who tend to have poor or no heath insurance, that hasn't changed -- there are many places in the U.S. where Obama care is unaffordable.
If Trump and the GOP had made a decent effort to improve and replace O-care, no one wold have a problem with it. The issue is that the GOP was all about doing away with government funded health care because "it's socialist" and many of them are in the pocket of the health care industry and the insurance industry. Government funded health care works just fine in every other western country and costs a fraction of what it does in the US where the health care and insurance industries fatten on it.
If you scam the American people with this sort of double talk and then pull the same stunt with "tax reform", you pay at the polls.
