Any good ones? Looking for a real site with real people.



Stay the f*** away from Flirt .

Plenty of Fish - it is free but you need the upgrade BS that is designed to take your $. I have not upgraded which must be why I get no response

- no ID check on members

- too many scammers and time wasters on site


What I have learned:

I foolishly paid Flirt for their 3 day then quickly realized they were scammers so I canceled my CC before they could bill. Lesson learned


A Email account is required to join so set up a throw away account for safety. Best to open their Email and join their site on a secondary computer as well for safety

There are review sites so read them . I have read nothing positive about POF or Flirt


As in life, I am willing to pay for quality

They’re all flawed in some way. Even the paid sites. For example, on eharmony, you can make a free account and see your matches, but you can’t send messages unless you pay. This means that if you see a profile you really like, and you buy an account so you can message them, they may be on a free account and may not be able to message you back (and may not want to pay 50.00 so they can). Plus, there are a lot of dead accounts that are left up, and a lot of bot accounts. None of these sites want you to be TOO successful, because then they can’t make money off your anymore.

Pretty much all of them are shit to use and frustrating as hell. Basically just pick whatever one. It doesn’t really matter. Your odds of meeting someone are about the same on all of them.

Sounds about right from my two day experience. The free enterprise way of paying for quality and getting it does not happen on these date sites. They make a bigger profit by not giving quality, but pretending to, and thereby keeping you as a paying customer . At least avoid the ones run by organized crime. Unless I can find a good one, I will not bother wasting my energy and time

Do they make you spend hours filling out those totally useless questionaires, whose purpose is to fool you into the belief you are paying for quality? Then you pay and find out it was all a waste of freakin time and you end up feeling like a loser?

Pretty much. They have you fill out their “scientifically proven” compatibility questionnaire when you sign up. Those things always seem like bullshit. Years back, when I used OKC, I filled out a lot of questions, probably like 200. You could fill out as many or as few as you wanted, but they assured you that if you fill out more, you get better matches. I had a few girls that I had 95%+ compatibility with, and most of them still wouldn’t respond to me. I had one girl who was a 99% match who I had a date with, and she was awful and boring. So yeah, that stuff all seems like a waste of time.

Yeah maybe she was boring but did you fuck her? That’s all that matters in these sites. I had an overweight buddy fucking babes 3-4 times a week for awhile on one site. He had his shit together and great income but he was out of shape and still banging total babes who were horny (but often crazy) as shit.

The only decent site these days is okcupid. I tried POF and it was nothing but low quality women. I created an okc profile last week and I've got 5 numbers so far. Decent women based on their pics and stats, but who knows what the actual dates will be like. Time will tell, but I find that I've got a "who gives a shit what happens" attitude knowing that worst case scenario I can just call up a beautiful sp.

Also Facebook just launched their dating app in Canada yesterday. Haven't tried it, but the features actually sound really great. One year from now I'm predicting fb surplants okc and pof.

Positive reviews on an internet review search. Thx. Let us know how dates work out. All they have to do is ask for photo ID then tell if clients were IDed or not as a heads up but which sites do that?

Did you have to upgrade to the paid membership? These sites make $ off advertising banners as well as paid membership

Not a fan of OKC, mind you I haven't paid for any upgrades. I stuck to free stuff and haven't found it to be very good.

I have been on it since yesterday. Answered questions and filled profile alone took a couple of hours. My experience same. This internet dating thing is work and too frustrating .

I thought I would try dating thing while on road and have just started but my limited experience says these sites are real.

Tips: Men totally out number women but you can easily separate yourself from the herd by :

1 acting like a gent

2 This means never send dirty pics

3 Do not talk dirty

4 Make her feel respected as a female who has needs

It will take time and a lot of surfing because the females are swamped by men, but if you are up for it, are decent looking , act like a gent and can show intelligence and empathy you will suceed.

BTW , women on the site have told me it is just as hard for them to use. While they are swamped by men, a lot are pervs and the women have to weed through them.


Caveat:

1 sites are "free" but that is a hook to get you in so you upgrade

2 inactive profiles are not deleted so there are not as many women as represented

3 I suspect some of the hotter profiles are fake

4 scammers are trying to get you over to their cam site

5 if you join it is hard to unjoin so use a secondary credit card then when you want to cancel , cancel the card

6 if the real hot babes are real, they are swamped so lower your standards
