So, I get a new router for better Wifi, supposedly. All was good with the previous one.

Set it up to my smart TV, I can see the difference on Netflix, quicker , faster , sharper.

However...spotify doesn't respond well and DAZN keeps asking me to log in over and over again. Sometimes "problems with logging on" displays on screen. As I said, the previous one worked beautifully.

What does the technology braintrust of TERB recommend?

GTA & Thereabouts...
Computers are evil. The only routers that work fine are the ones used by woodworkers.

It is sad that when you Google 'router', none of the suggestions come up with the ones used to shape wood...

Ahem... Anyhoo, I gave up on the buying my own router. I just use the ones that come with the Bell or Rogers service and all is well.

(PS - Mr. Draper, You write in such a bold manner)

High end Asus routers are best for the ones who want to set it and forget it..

If you want to go more technical, and more control.. Pfsense and a wireless access point like an EAP 320

Try clearing the cache and data of the apps (Spotify). If that doesn't work, uninstall the programs/apps and install them again. The issue can be that your IP has changed.

Over the summer I converted to AMPLIFI HD routers. I never had good, complete coverage using the Rogers modem/wifi and setting up access points worked - but were a pain to troubleshoot if there was a problem. I now have my Rogers box in my main floor family room set to bridge mode and have one Amplifi HD serving as the router. I have two more AMPLIFI HD’s set up as mesh points (one in the basement, one on second floor.) It’s been totally seamless and I have full coverage even in my detached garage. It has an iPhone App to control which is very convenient and you can troubleshoot/reboot most problems (which have been infrequent) from your phone. Bonus is that the routers actually look good too, so you can just leave them out in plain sight.
