Poor Experience at the Brass Club

Cmj got a liquor license at their downtown location too. We will hear more stories about this in the future.
Maybe I'm just a prude, but adding alcohol to the MA business model seems like trouble. How do you untangle consent issues when the client, provider or both have been drinking? I know strip clubs have similar issues but, in theory at least, the champagne rooms are open and the rules are (supposedly) well defined. In the MA world, once two people disappear into that room who's to say what happened and what was agreed upon, etc...

Personally as a client, a spa with a liquor license is more trouble than its worth.

Just some Sunday morning thoughts. Climbing off the soap box now.

I think that the liquor license is irrelevant in this discussion. It is how the owner of an establishment controls the alcohol consumption by their employees.

Some places allow you to bring in your own alcohol for your session. There is nothing illegal about this. I've even seen the MAs walking around with glasses of alcohol. Again nothing illegal. The point is I haven't heard about any alcohol related issues with these establishments. Not to say there isn't, I just haven't heard of any.

So as I said perhaps the rules are such that having some alcohol is fine but the MA has a responsibility to not over do it. It's up to the management to make sure MAs aren't passed out in the hallway or going into sessions drunk. It would be no different if a license is involved. I know that even if a client brings in alcohol, they aren't allowed to get drunk or be drunk.

I know that I would never go into a session if a MA was drunk or seemed like it. I even had a SP ask me to pick up a bottle if wine for our visit and she proceeded to down half of it very quickly. She said it takes the edge off. I said enjoy your wine and left.

My two cents - I've been to the Brass Club roughly a dozen times and have generally had excellent experiences there. I prefer meeting and chatting with MAs I'm interested in before booking, and the setup with the bar area where you can socialize works for me. I personally don't have a problem with meeting other patrons, though I suppose some might find it a bit awkward. While the ladies are sometimes drinking a little bit, I've never seen anyone get intoxicated while I've been there. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it happens, just saying I don't think it's a regular occurrence.

When we opened 2 and half years ago, we were the first establishment of its kind to hold a full time liquor and food license.
We take this license very seriously. Our bar is a controlled environment with all bar staff having smart serve certifications, a breathalyzer on hand and the authority to ask anyone to leave at anytime.
Gross intoxication within our facilities is not and will not be tolerated.

On top of that, our hostesses are not permitted to bring personal alcohol on site, similar to other facilities with a liquor and food license.
Does it make sense to assume that because another facility doesn't have a liquor license really mean that their massage attendants have not been drinking during work shifts?
Not pointing fingers, just putting it out there.

I guess it's a matter of YMMV. Of course this can be said for basically anything, let alone with MAs.

I score my experiences at Brass as 1-1-1. A W, a L, and a N/A

My first visit wasn't necessarily bad but it was still an L, the session with the MA left me feeling underwhelmed. Based on the reviews I read (not of her specifically) but of other people's experiences at Brass, I felt like I wasn't getting the experience others positively glowed about.

My second visit was much better, ergo a W. The MA I booked a session with made me almost forget about my first go, and she left me feeling very positive about coming back to see her, at least until she left and I never got the chance for a repeat.

My third visit actually didn't happen, so N/A. Firstly because the MA I booked it with initially was cleared from the schedule. There was another MA I was interested in seeing but I ended up getting sick that evening and didn't book a follow up.

Main reason I haven't gone back is because I can really only go on weekends and I guess weekends aren't so busy there because there's fewer MAs compared to the rest of the week and the ones I am most curious about currently are all working weekdays. Ah well.

It's too bad the OP had a negative first experience. I understand if they won't be going back but hey, I took a chance a 2nd time and maybe the bar wasn't set very high but the MA I was with definitely cleared it and then some. Just may need to find a more compatible MA to get the kind of experience you'd like.

Compatibility can be a strange thing.

I make recommendations all the time and I'm happy to cater. It's especially easy with regular gentlemen who frequent the club often. I know exactly what they like and let them know who among the new hostesses is similar to the hostesses they've seen in the past, if they ask.
I'm present at the Brass Club for several hours at a time on a daily basis and get to know the hostesses well.
Plus, I still do duo sessions, which means I know first hand what gentlemen I've seen in the past appreciate the most in session.
It must be difficult to choose a girl as a client and even worse when a session is disappointing and not what you want. This is absolutely the opposite of what we want to achieve at the Brass Club.

It is a customer service industry and I would like to offer this service to whomever is interested.
Please feel welcomed to contact me personally and confidently via DM on twitter @RealJessicaMA, via email at info@brassclub.ca

For a guy who is easily embarrassed asking ladies what I’d like in a session (within MA limits of course), on a couple occasions, I asked Jess to make a recommendation for a session and the ladies she recommended were fantastic. I’d strongly recommend getting a recommendation from her!

My two cents

I had two decent sessions at brass, booked one of the ladies again.. showed up and waiting 15min int their lounge,, got to "meet" one of the girls who was at the bar getting a shot at 1pm who didn't even say hello to me but rather ignored me as i was 4 feet away from her. Finally was told the lady i booked was not coming in (already paid for parking and waiting a decent amount of time, not to mention booking off work to go and see her.) I did the walk in and picked one of the two girls that was comfortable seeing a woman.

OMG HELEN was amazing! defiantly glad i got to meet her! was not happy i waited for 15 min before the MA decided to message me apologizing. i respect we all have stuff going on but as a client i would have liked a heads up she wasn't even in before i came over and parked... i was offered a 20$ room upgrade on my next session,...

i will be back to see helen, maybe the girl that last minute canceled but it was a definite piss off.

I try to only see lady in the day as they are not likely drunk, but on one of my visits i did smell alcohol and weed off the girl... wasn't ideal

That has to do with the staff and not Brass themselves. Girls drink and smoke on their own time and come into work (or at some places drink a lot at work) i pride myself as a sober provider so i know next time to TRIPLE CHECK if the girl im seeing will be any form of intoxicated
Not too often we see a provider that visits other MAs and SPs. That's very cool and hot.

I'm a non-drinking
If i went to a spa for some fun
And the lady was drinking
I get my money back and be gone
Not for me
I agree.
I've had experience with ladies who were more focused on drinking. Fucked-up session.

Seems like BC is more focused on making more money off the girls working there. Of course they are going to say it’s not a problem, it’s a gold mine for them. I find it so funny that it just gets denied as no it doesn’t happen even though so many people have commented on it.

All the comments with you guys saying how well it was handled really make me laugh. The IQ level here seems to keep going down and down.

Since BC openly admits they have a breathalyzer on site, I will happily take one for the team, and book an appt with a girl of my choice, and request that she take a breathalyzer test in front of me and the owner prior to our session.
Clearly BC says that drunk girls is NOT a problem, so they have nothing to worry about.
Now having stopped going to Brass many many months ago because I saw 2 girls who were both drunk by noon, I have a good idea who to pick for my appt.
This should be interesting...

Step 1: Start a business where people can make a lot of money and you get a cut.

Step 2: Make it so the people making a lot of money can spend their earned money at your business at a huge markup and you get even more money back.

Step 3: Get rich and deny deny deny!!

I would certainly prefer a "no alcohol during session" rule, or at least norm. Sex work and booze seems like a recipe for disaster.

I visited Brass, the girl did bring a beer into the session and suggested we both get one. For what it's worth, she did not appear drunk in any way and I trusted she knew her limit. This was 4-5 pm as well

This is a review board not a critique class. We are adults and can disagree but please be civil. No need for potty, snide and condescending remarks. All this does is sully the conversation not add value to it.

i love my job, i make great connections and friendships. if i don't like someone i won't see them again? no one in kindergarten is like "i want to jerk people off" but as you age you change. This is the best job ive ever had and i love cummin at work and getting them to cum.

Don't judge others, i do my job sober perfectly fine.
I must see you!

take a sec and ask yourself ..
who aspires to jerk off total strangers for a living?
and could you do it sober?
Well, it's the same money as escorts make in an hour but there's no penetration, just a hj, its almost close to a lap dance too, thats why it's a popular choice. Compare the number of new spas opening in Ottawa to the number of Ottawa based escorts and you can see it appears more lady sexworkers here prefer the hj to providing fs. Less invasive choice I guess for excellent coin?
