Murder in the TTC Subway

Random or targeted?? Big difference imo.

Unfortunate either way, but initial reports suggest the men involved knew each other or at least entered into an altercation before the stabbing occurred.

From what I read, there was a fight, and one guy pulled a knife and stabbed the other one. This is why I always say never to get in fights no matter how tough you think you are.

anything can happen in a street fight

CP24 reported that altercation occurred in a parking lot just outside the station, rather than in (which explains why entire area outside station was closed off by police).

At least they sorted things out man to man!

Pre 2000 era while on my way to school and waiting for the bus at Kennedy station at around 11am when the morning crowds had dispersed, I saw a young guy walking in the station with a handgun in his hand.
He acted as though as it was quite the normal thing to do.
My bus came and I scooted out of there so not sure if anything happened then.

You got that right, you never know these days who has a gun or knife. Hope things don't get like the New York subways.

That's right. It's just not worth it.

We need a system where the winner of street fights takes all of the loser's possession. Then it will be worth it.
