Contacting SP's on Twitter...

I've been noticing that a few Indy SP's are using Twitter, versus a website.

I'm not much of a Twitter-Sphere lad myself... until recently... so I'm a little hesitant to make contact with a SP over Twitter. Even though there a few I find extremely attractive, and interesting.

I was just curious to the thoughts/ opinions of others, regarding this.

I find on websites, it's easy to know rates, service locations, screening processes, deposit requirements (if any) etc etc etc... Twitter not so much!

Usually the website would save me time for a few of those things.

Maybe I'm just being completely outdated... lol. I'm not even 40 and I'm starting to sound old to myself!

Anyway... Thoughts?

Well for me, I have a website and all that jazz so if someone contacts me on there to book I forward them to my website. I used to talk booking directly on Twitter but I have a friend who's twitter was compromised and all of her clients info was on there so it was easily accessible.
Jesus! I would hope clients aren't using their personal twitter accounts to contact sex workers. That's just asking for trouble.

I keep my personal life and hobbying life completely separate. Separate email addresses, separate phone numbers, separate twitter accounts, and stick to a first name only basis.

I love twitter!! I just find it hard to book an appointment directly THROUGH Twitter.

I don't mind contacting me via Twitter... But then getting a text or phone call afterwards is great confirmation that its a legit hobbyist :)

Do a lot of you gentlemen have Twitter? Its gotten so popular to advertise on!! Love Twitter (used to hate it!).

I’ve used twitter a number of times for first contact with a lady. It works great. If she knows how to use it, she’ll have a link to her website, or her agency profile, and an email for booking and screening info. Once booked, I usually get text number for confirmation, address etc.
Only once have I done all contact through twitter DM’s, right up to room number.
It worked great. Also I’ve used twitter DM’s to transfer private pics to and fro.

I’m finding lately a lot of agency ladies have twitter, that way you can have direct contact with the lady rather than only through the booker. Some will tell you to book through website or the agency.
Great thing about twitter is you can block or mute anyone you don’t want to see or hear from.

The first-time contact via a DM is fine unless they have them turned off.

From.there you will be directed to how the lady prefers to be booked. Follow those directions and you should be good. Same applies to Terb or other forums.

I believe quite a few Johns use Twitter. I found it kind of fun for research. I'm just not much a person for posting any of my life details. Usually based on posts, you can get a better idea on the SP's personality, quirkiness etc etc.

I was just wondering, as it seems that it is becoming a bit of an industry standard for SP's lately.... ads are including website, phone number ... and twitter account.

And then some Twitter accounts do not have anything but an email address. At that point, I tend to dismiss that SP as a potential booking. I've have been doing that for a while now, and just yesterday I realized that I was only dismissing based on the lack of a website. In the back of my mind somewhere, I am subconsciously thinking that if they do not have a website, then it must be a scam.... obviously not very fair of me. I also do the same when an SP only posts a phone number in an ad. If an SP goes through the trouble of paying for a website, paying for prof. pics, and up keeping it all (or paying for the upkeep), then the SP must be legit. Maybe Im thinking a bit wrong about this?

Anyway... thoughts. I can't be the only one! lol! If I am, then I may have to attempt changing my archaic methods. lol

Thanks for the responses!

I've booked a few agency SP's via Twitter in the past, and other times have used it as a way to make contact/give a heads up about an appointment I've made to see them.

I don't think you can judge a SP based on no website. Many escorts don't work with a website and many lost their site when hosting companies shut them down after SESTA/FOSTA was passed in the US.

There could be a valid reason is all I'm saying.

As I don't really advertise anywhere I use it to announce schedule changes (e.g. pool league Wed nights) or last minute availability due to a client cancellation, etc. Personally I try to keep my SM imprint to a bare minimum. I don't need to win any popularity contest by having the most followers, just serious ones whose views I enjoy or who assist me when needed, as I do them. I would never book anyone through DM, only my website form. Twitter can be an effective tool if used right but like all SM, if misused it can be problematic.
