I'm on the fence about the firing.
Part of me is happy. She is now going to feel it. Which is something that doesn't happen enough in these cases.
But to be fired for a viral video is something that seems wrong to me and can be misused. Like the woman who was fired for flipping off the Trump motorcade.
For me, any building I'm going into, I don't let others in. Even though it is not my building and I am a guest. It is the proper thing to do. However, I'm not there to police things. And someone sneaking into a building is not cause for a police call. Most places now have cameras so contacting the super or property management is enough.
She has a very snooty attitude both in the interview and the viral video. She didn't apologize at all. Not for asking him if he lived there which I think she profiled him but even after she followed him to his door, I don't hear an apology. Nothing comes across as sincere. She doesn't think she did a single thing wrong. So part of me is ok with her being fired. Meaning that I would fight for everyone's right to be an ass on their off time but I wouldn't care too much if we lost the battle on her case.
