Business / Pleasure in Shanghai

I have not been to Shanghai for a number of years now, but at the "backpage" of English newspapers there were ads for escort agencies. I enjoyed a number of beautiful young ladies and they came right to my hotel room.

Xintiandi, which is an area with all the clubs. Dress to impress and be confident, many local women in this area speak English and are quite willing to go to your hotel.

I was with a Chinese friend and he took me around to many "massage parlors". By our definition they are brothels. Girls line up and you make your choice. You spend 2-3 hours there as they provide you with food & drinks. You are bathed by another girl and then brought in to a room with the girl you chose. We were at a different place almost every night. Cost about $100CDN.

I few years ago I went to the Hard Rock Cafe with some guys that I was travelling with in Shanghai.

When we got there it was about 7pm and it looked more or less like every other Hard Rock Cafe in a big international city location. Basically an expensive upscale casual family restaurant focused on the hamburger with guitars hanging on the walls. A good mix of affluent people and lots of kids with their parents.

I was kind of oblivious to what was going on beyond our table. But once we had ordered dessert, I got up to go to the washroom ...and found the kids gone ...and the place was jammed with hookers. Good-looking, nice, friendly ones !!!

This was one of my finest memories of China !

And the best Hard Rock Cafe ever ! I actually bought a T-shirt.

Go to Judy's or Manhattan, pick up bars with lots of availability.

Good description here of the sauna scene in Shanghai. i visited this pace or one very much like it a few years back, but China had had a crackdown from what I understand, so it may not be quite as active a scene.

The TERB of Asia

I have been living here for the last 3 years. The independent scene is great, the pro-bars are ok, and the sauna's are a great way yo spend the evening.

Manhattan is closed now, Judy’s was too for Reno in November
