Chapter 19 intact, NO 5 year Sunset clause, quotas only on cars that don’t meet the content requirements, no steel and aluminum tariffs..... all for giving some access to our dairy market which Trump would have received if he had signed on for TPP.

So American dairy wil be allowed into Canada but we don't have to buy it. Research into which are Canadian brands and which are US brands. I know Saputo is from Quebec, what others?
Holy f*ck, as a small business owner that has about 50% US customers; I will sleep better tonight. Was the primary issue the milk stuff? If it was, we should have just given that up, if it was defended then it was only for political reasons.
We are letting some US farmed dairy into Canada but we as consumers don't have to buy it. The tarrifs of 300% are reduced, the volume allowed in are increased.
Even if Canada decided to make concessions on dairy on day one, you hold that card and you hold it tight because you know its important to Trump. When you finally are willing to give it up, you demand the WORLD!!!
This was done several days ago, nice stage acting by everyone, in the end they decided this would help Coulliard and agreed to spill the beans. The deal with Autos was a very good deal. I now expect Europeans to maybe build some cars in Canada as a result of this.
The Canadian dairy producers need to change their packaging to include a big red maple leaf on everything made with Canadian dairy products so I know quickly and easily which ones to buy and which ones not to buy.
The American dairy products could be free and I won't put them in my cart. Not after all this bullshit and the insults from the maniac down south.
Interested to know if BGH milk will be allowed into Canada, will it require special labelling? I know there is non-BST milk from the US, perhaps they will only allow non-BST milk and put some other barriers up to fuck with the yankees as they do with us.
Trump just stated he's keeping the steel and aluminum tariffs until a quota-like system can be put in place. He also implied other key national security related items may also see quotas. He was non-specific as to what.
