It's not the breed, right.

So you hold the dog and pull its trigger? Here we go again.
Think what you will, IMO, you've all been brainwashed. Nothing anyone can say or do will change your minds.
Power breeds are like guns in the sense that they don't kill people, people kill people.
I've had several dogs throughout my life and find Pitts are the most obedient, I'm currently on my second Pitt and he's as gentle as a lamb but dismiss this as a one in a million, go ahead.
Can they do damage? Of course, their sheer size permits this. What about when chihuahuas or a toy poodles attack and bite, not as much damage but this is because of their size.
Dobermans are the only dogs that can fly off the handle. This is not news, it's been known for years. It's something pertaining to chemicals in their brains that can occur when they reach a certain age.
I've seen Akitas and Labs do more damage than Pitts but this doesn't make the news. Pitts attract attention, until we find the next power breed that will be more feared. SMH
I know, lets get rid of all dogs that aren't small ankle biters. :')
Yup, I'll reduce the risk and get me a small goldfish. bawhawThere is no guarantee a dog will obey it's owner. Any dog can fly off the handle as can humans, tigers, bears, racoons.....
Can you post dog bite injury chart as well? The reason I say this is because these charts aren't worth anything except to show how terrible the media and others are at gathering dog bite stats. They classify pitbulls as any dog that look like it could possibly, kind of, look like a pitbull. None of these stats state any DNA testing to confirm a pitbull or even the type of terrier (american pit vs staffordshire).

I'm surprised that you Canada Man would fall for this. Usually you're a bit more critical of mainstream herd mentality.
Thanks, I'll stand by my two previous statements. So you hold the dog and pull its trigger?
A gun is completely in control by the owner / holder.

All these charts read to me is Pitbulls remain the breed bad owners train to attack and bite, nothing more. When bad owners teach a different dog will this chart change, blame the breed not the owners. SMH
It's like blaming AR-15s for mass shootings. :')
What Pitbulls are bread for and how they are trained are two completely different issues. Keep your blinders on and I'll keep my Pit, thanks.pitbulls are specifically breaded to be this way your pit bull apologism does not change biological and genetic facts,

I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. I mean, it's possible to train a tiger too, but that doens't mean a good tamer has made that tiger 100% safe. Some animals have a tendency to lash out, and Pitbulls are one of them. I live in Ottawa so this shouldn't be an issue.and keep your PIT away from me
It's possible to train an Italian Greyhound but it wouldn't do much damage, hence why bad owners choose a larger dog. Debating is futile when minds are brainwashed. Indeed they are, but it's not enforced. This industry is illegal yet we're still here.Ottawa is in Ontario
