Great game vs the Warrrior BUT Cousins, Green, and Curry did not play and we barely won in overtime. I like the Raptors chances of winning the East but the finals..… not without one more upgrade.

Curry, Durant and Thompson all there against Detroit. they still lose. I guess the Golden state fans can bitch about that!
Its a long season. Not every game will be great. Wins are wins. Once again we should still try to capture the No 1 seed, and this year if we can get the No 1 overall that might come in handy too. Home court advantage is always a plus, even against Golden State. Its where all our guys shoot best. I've noticed Delon Wright can be pretty solid from 3 too. He's probably much better at home for now, I'm not sure, but if we're hitting from three from all angles, like Leonard, Lowry, Green, JV. , Wright, Van Vleet, Siakam and OG; what's not to like about our chances to win it all. I'm liking our long term prospects too.

Ugly win tonight without Lowry, Kawhi carried them to victory, another road win, now the tough stretch begins

Yeah, unfortunately the raps didn’t run away with the game, but you gotta keep in mind that th Cavs have been playing better lately. It still should’ve been a game the Raps won convincingly. The next little stretch will be telling.

Tough loss last night against a good team, I don't why that foul was called on the inbound play with 7 seconds to go? and they only get 1 FT. They can't win every game

I could kind of understand the Valunciunas foul, closing out with foot underneath the shooter. didn't think Nurse freaking out on that one made sense, but the one shot foul and the ball for Ibaka's foul away from the ball in the dying seconds with all kinds of contact everywhere, seemed suspect.

and yes we aint gonna win them all. We don't even need to dominate the West. We only have to play one series in the playoffs against a Western Conference team(hopefully). We hope to keep winning at 750 to 800 clip, win the east with home court advantage, and maybe even have home court for a possible showing in the NBA finals. But we're a long way still from any of that.

Raps on ESPN tonight - national TV exposure; they should be up for this one.
The fact last years number 1 team in Eastern Conference and this years 21-5 team with a top 5 player in the NBA doesn't have a Christmas game gig is a joke ... ESPN has sent a lot of crew to follow the Raptors for the day .. Big game and perfect night to shine ...

I hear you but the games are set even before the season starts.

It's deja vu all over again, JV cops another emotional lesbian. He played Embiid like he played Boogie, he got under his skin and crimped his game. Sure play Ibaka against small ball but against the big postmen JV is the answer.

The clip that Tim and Sid showed before the game was priceless. ESPN parked themselves at the entrance to the Raps locker room. Lowry was gracious enough, Kawhi looked like he was smelling shit. Love The Klaw!

Two American TV broadcasts coming up: NBAtv against Milwaukee, and ESPN against Golden State. Raps can no longer be ignored.

Not a good look for the Raptors when your second best player - Kyle Lowry gets a big fat ZERO points in an NBA game, I hope he gets out of his slump. Teams are now triple-teaming Kawii, he will need help from Kyle if they want to contend for a title.

How do you get zero points playing more then 35 minutes . Kyle maybe need a mini vacation ... He had to play a lot of ball with Kawhi taking nights off , Wright hurt and Fred also hurt during the 1st quarter of the season ... Oh by the way Lowry you can't go on ESPN and talk like " the man " and then put up 25 points total in last 5 games ..

I guess he had his vacation because he showed up tonight. No Kawhi, but Raps blew out Clippers.

often with Kawhi in the game its not unlike Demar Derozan getting the ball on every possession and the rest stepping back and watching. they got to figure out how to get the whole team engaged when Kawhi's on the court. They did at times early on but lately its been more obvious. Fred on the floor with Lowry and Siakam keeps the "showtime" Raptors moving at a nice pace.

was it somewhat a blessing not to have Kawhi in the lineup? Ball moved around. Everyone got touches...and we rolled over GS!! Didn't just stand around and watch Kawhi, however good he is, pound the ball and do his thing. He's smart enough to see too that he might start getting himself more integrated in the overall offense. Save his one on one for the 4th quarter if necessary. We also are very strong inside the paint this year. Some of the losses we got caught hoisting too many 3s.

The loss of JV's hurts, what's his status? Dreymond's foul wasn't flagrant. This is the time of year that JV is at his best, the man loves the Canadian winter.

Kyle has back problems which comes and goes. Hopefully for us the issue doesn't return.
