Well, CBD isn’t exactly “good for you”. Like, if you’re in perfect health, it won’t make you healthier. It’s not a vitamin or anything. It’s not like all these drinks that add açai, or ginseng, or some other “superfood” additive. CBD is medicine. It’d be more akin to adding some Tylenol to your drink.

I also wouldn’t say that CBD relaxes you. I take CBD oil twice a day, it helps my gastrointestinal symptoms and muscle pain, it does nothing for my anxiety or insomnia. I use a high THC indica for sleep or if I need to relax.
and you think your gastrointestinal symptoms have nothing to do with the nervous state of your mind? The condition of the stomach is largely a product of the mind.

No, IBS is thought to be a dysfunction of the enteric nervous system. CBD affects the cannabinoid receptors in the enteric nervous system in a way that helps your gut relax. It also has an analgesic effect, dulling your pain receptors. It has very little to do with your mental state.

Just wanted to add that Tillray is up 80% TODAY and has gone up over $250 from it's IPO price of $17 back in June. I had a position in this from the IPO which I sold through last week and this morning - and the stock continues to rise (although there is a volatility halt right now). The market went from hot, to crazy, to totally fucking insane. I missed the top but not going to go back in until some sanity prevails.

Edit to add: Nasdaq has halted trading twice in the past 1/2 hour due to volatility. So even finding a decent market price is tough with bid/ask spreads super wide. Edit again - halted now for a third time. Classic sign of a frenzied rise.

IBS is more of a term doctors use when they don't know what is wrong, kinda like non-specific urethritus.

I’m aware, but most cases of IBS with no apparent medical cause are thought to be caused by enteric nervous system dysfunction. Trust me, I just spent 6 months going to all kinds of doctors and specialists for this shit.

I have it pretty well under control now due to a combination of probiotics, digestive enzymes, and medicinal cannabis.
