Wow I was expecting a 5 round war but for some reason I got an inkling that I would be wrong, which I ignored.

Woodley is definitely one of the best welterweights of all time, he showed it tonight. I'm not sure if anyone can threaten his WW title reign at the moment.

I'd like too see him fight GSP next or maybe the winner of Connor/Khabib. I don't think Colby Covington is much of a challenge to his title after what I saw tonight.

That was a clinic put on by Tyron I can"t believe that he was the underdog, Dana should be ashamed of himself for always trashing Woodley. His previous 3 fights were against 2 of the most awkward fighters in the UFC.
Woodley showed great restraint by not giving Dana the finger after the fight

They obviously wanted Till to be the champ. I thought the ref was biased in breaking up those clinches so quickly.

I took Woodley in the pool I'm in so the win didn't surprise me.

What did surprise me was the submission. He hasn't done that in nearly decade. Good on him.

He's got an extremely high fight IQ. And lots of experience. He's 36 though and probably past his physical prime.

Covington being a pressure fighter will be different than what Tyron has seen in a while. My guess is that is a short fight as well with lots a fire works.

Would love to see him fight GSP next. I think a prime GSP would take him but not sure about now. I think that GSP is waiting for Connor though.

That's the legacy and money fight for him.

Woodley fought better competition than GSP did, MMA has evolved quite a bit since GSP's WW champ days. Not to mention USADA.

The interesting thing is that GSP is only 1 year older than Woodley.

They do have common opponents in Condit, Hieron,Koschek and Shields. The first three both beat but Twood did loose a split decision to Shields.

One of the big differences between the two is that GSP avenged all of his losses but Twood has not. Bet that bothers him.

I see Twood as being a really hard style match up for GSP. Just like the pre USADA Hendricks was. But Georges does have a habit of getting wins doesn't he?

I wish Rory Macdonald was still in The UFC, I'd like to see Woodley fight him again. Jake Shields is also not in The UFC anymore either and I do think Woodley would have no issue with him now. He came to MMA rather late do he was a late bloomer.

Woodley finished Condit and Koschek, something GSP was not able to do. This gives credence to GSP playing it safe and getting called out for laying and praying. He's still a great fighter but I feel his style suits another era better.
