A Polish mother says she was beaten up by a gang of 15 women in what she describes as a racist attack. Anna Maria Serafin Podolska said she was viciously targeted in the West Midlands town of Tipton. Ms Podolska said she and her three children were verbally assaulted by the group who told them to ‘go back to Poland’.
She shared photographs of her black eye on Facebook, adding that she was returning home from a walk when it happened. She said: ‘One of them followed us, and once we reached our street I turned around and was struck in the face with a fist. A fight broke out. ‘When I was lying on the street, 15 women or more, of different ages, ran up to us. I received blows from all sides.’ The mother said police and the emergency services arrived at the scene after her neighbours were alerted by her son.
