I'm sure others have also read or heard about this absolutely inexplicable murder case in Colorado.

The husband goes on television about how his pregnant wife and two daughters have gone missing, but his story has problems from the first -- among them she left her purse and keys in the house. Then two days later he confesses to having murdered all of them and having put their bodies into holding tanks at the oil field where he worked. There is some speculation that her career was going far better than his, and that this bothered him.

Thankfully Colorado has the death penalty. But sadly you can only execute a person once which is this person needs to be caned first, then drawn and quartered and then finally given a adequate dosage of carfentenal. If they are found guilty that is.

The problem is it taking so fucking long. Some sit on death row until they're almost ready to die anyway.

I'm not opposed to the death penalty, but I don't see why there is any reason to be thankful for it. It didn't save the family. It doesn't bring them back. It didn't deter the killer. It'll probably cost taxpayers more to execute him, than it would to just imprison him for life. Also, execution is ultimately easier on him (i mean, it limits his suffering).

Why bother giving him an easy way out? Send him straight to the Pelican Bay. Or better yet, see if the Russians will take him at the Black Dolphin prison where they send their worst, sadistic killers, cannibals and the like.

If you can do that, your beyond redemption, and should be shot point blank. I feel terrible about all the tax payers money that is going to be wasted on this man...…..

It's entirely possible that he is so psychotic that he murdered his family over his wife having a better career. Without any furher info I would assume there are some other jealousies involved.

I find the death penalty repugnant but there are cases where it should apply. Killing a pregnant women and defenseless children qualifies.

This guys narascism knows no bounds apparently.

I wouldn't say full on psychopathic, but I would bet NPD for sure combined with other stuff possibly.

Obviously he suffers from mental illness. He should be found NCR and ordered to seek help for whatever caused him to kill his family. Put on meds then returned to society to lead a long productive life. Perhaps he can even move to Canada and hang out with Richard Kachkar and Vince Li...

Now he is saying he was having an affair and she killed the kids out of anger to get back at him. Then he killed her out of rage.

Further he has admitted to an affair.

Looking at his ego (going on television), and lack of emotion. It seems likely that he is very high up on the psychopathology scale. Don't know if a psychiatric evaluation has been ordered.

Reminds me of the Scott Peterson case.
