The heavyweights of The Cons pretty much let Sheer have the leadership because they knew JT wasn't going anywhere for a while. Ford is not going to help the situation either by pissing off the vote rich Toronto/GTA.
The last opinion poll still has Trudeau and the Liberals ahead with the popularity increasing by 6%.
John Baird making a big public rant about JT needing to apologize to Saudi is going to end up as embarrassment for the CPC. Not only does Baird talk out of both sides of his mouth depending on what he thinks he can get out of it, but Saudi is widely despised.

Nah...doesn't mean anything. A lot of Canadians still have the India costume party embarrassment burned into their memory. Throw in a good groping story and trust-fund boy is toast in a year.

I hate them whenever they attack JT over stuff that Harper fucked up so badly that JT is stuck picking up the shards. And that includes Khadr - your supposed "convicted assassin".
If your precious CPC ever tried to be a real political party with real ideas and a real political platform, instead of a clique of whiny bitches dissing other people over shit they themselves screwed up, I might not hate them.
The groping incident will no doubt be a hearty back-slapping chuckle at CPC drunk fests for the next 20 years. No one else even realizes it's a "scandal". The Indian fancy dress escapade was silly, but trivial. Khadr got a payoff because your buddy Harper agreed to let the Americans torture him at Gitmo. Etc. Etc.
And how about the Nordic Model - Harper's finest achievement? Since we're on a john board, after all.
