I'm more into football, but this came up in recommendations and well, wow. 5:00 minute mark alone is jaw dropping skill.

Donkey lookalike
Then why didn't anyone do so?

And good for him he didn't enter a beauty contest, Mr Pitt, so he was just fine as a mutli award and trophy winning football legend...Sorry...soccer legend. Nah...football legend.

I would have to put the two Brazilians (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho) ahead of CR7 (2nd) and Messy for pure talent.

Ronaldinho had supernatural gifts but he was undisciplined. He enjoyed the Barcelona night life too much, put on too much weight and was cut from the club in 2008. With Xavi and Iniesta running the show, Barca was the class of Europe - not any more. They've never replaced Xavi and Messy will have to assume Iniesta's role on the club. Despite his faults, Messy is dedicated to the game and has already surpassed Ronaldinho's career in terms of length and production. Messy also got to play in Europe as a domestic with an Italian passport, skirting UEFA import rules.

The Telemundo broadcast at the beginning is priceless!

Add Pelé and Maradona and there you have 6 of the top 10 players ever to play the game...

I only saw Pele with the New York Cosmos, same with Eusebio with Toronto Metros Croatia.

And let's not forget Zinedine Zidane and Gigi Riva. The later was known as Rolling Thunder, he was the Bobby Hull of football. Won the European Cup in 1968, but could not repeat at the 1970 World Cup against the best Brazil team ever. Played his entire career with his home town club Cagliari, winning the Scudetto in 69. Knee problems cut short his career. Still holds the record for most goals with The Azzurri.

Riva doesn't enter the discussion of the true greatest players of all time. But then we have Messi who lays so many eggs in huge games for ARG, so I guess we might have to give him a bly using club form.

PS: Yes, Brasilia 70 absolutely manhandled Italy. The score line could have have been so much worse.

Ronaldinho helped manufacture a WC title. Sorry mate. Messi is a great club baller. With the players at his disposal on the ARG team, he shits the bed way too often for my liking. Great in the Barca shirt though.

Knee problems cut short Riva's career but he deserves consideration. He powered Cagliari to a Scudetto in 1970 against talent laden clubs for Torino and Milano. Mind you I never saw him play, but his achievements stand out.

Messi performs great when Iniesta/Xavi next to him.

Without those two, not so much
