I would say more accurately is that we are part of the problem. In the Durham Region we are/were accustomed to a certain level of service at a particular price point. As with anything you can only charge what the market will bear. So when that travelling lady comes to Durham Region and asks for $250/hour and wonders why she gets little to no bookings, this creates the same issue on SP side of the equation.
When you had providers like Sexy Spinner that provided stellar service at a bargain price for such a long period of time, it's no wonder why the hobbiest of Durham became spoiled.

From my understanding Spinner did that to undercut everyone else. It was about making as much money as possible, but it was unrealistic. She knew she was leaving. Charging $100 for a half hour of everything under the sun, that was also just a one-shot half hour, so some men were out the door in 10 mins. That was her cashing out at the end of her game. She purposely set her hour rate much higher to ensure only half hours.
I don't think that is a true reflection of Durham.
I do agree that men have worked very hard to keep the market rate in Durham a low as they can, however, it seems by doing that - you are all shooting yourself in the .... I would say foot but I think cock seems more appropriate for this topic.
As for getting $250, I have no problem getting that. It is not the rate so much as the volume. I am happy with a couple of clients a week. Touring ladies would want that in a day. Which makes sense.
What I find funny is that what is written on TERB, doesn't always translate in the real world. There are ladies who still do a tour, they just don't advertise it. They book with men via text or email when they are coming out. Like a mailing list of gentlemen in the area and they are successful that way. It seems when they advertise is when the rate bitching, the no-shows, the general disrespectful behaviours come out.
